The only main card fight I really want to see is noted below, along with the one prelims fight I want to see.
Main card matchups:
Rory vs. Fitch main event: Rory puts his title on the line in the last (finally, FFS) quarterfinal fight in their interminable and easily forgotten WW tournament.
Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (9-0) vs. Veta Arteaga (5-2). This squash match is only interesting because Macfarlane has 7 finishes in 9 fights. Hopefully she’ll finish this one as well.
Benson Henderson vs. Adam Piccolotti: Who cares.
Phil Davis vs. Liam McGeary: Both guys have lost to a guy named Vadim Nemkov in the past year.
Gaston Bolanos (4-1) vs. Nathan Stolen (8-4): This is the fight I want to see, only because Bolanos is a truly violent fighter and his hand-picked opponent hates going to the judges for a decision. Between these two, they have a grand total of 1 decision in 17 fights. I’m hoping, praying, and fully expecting a highlight reel finish.
Prelims:
Mandel Nallo (7-0) vs. Don Mohammed (6-3): Nallo is a Tristar fighter who refuses to go 15 minutes. He’s finished all 7 of his opponents, and the only time he beat a guy with a losing record was in his pro debut. He’s good on the feet and on the ground: 3 (T)KOs and 4 Subs. Look for an 8th straight finish for him in this one, and the main card from here on out.

USADA announced today that four athletes have accepted six-month sanctions for violating the UFC® Anti-Doping Policy after testing positive for trace amounts of ostarine consistent with supplement contamination.
Ostarine is a non-Specified Substance in the class of Anabolic Agents and prohibited at all times under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, which has adopted the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. Ostarine, also known as MK-2866 and Enobosarm, is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that is illegally sold worldwide as a performance-enhancing substance. Ostarine is not currently available as a prescription medication in any country, and its unauthorized use may carry serious side effects. Nonetheless, ostarine has commonly been found as a declared and undeclared ingredient in many dietary supplements. More information about the risks of ostarine can be found through a USADA athlete advisory.
USADA’s athlete advisory recognizes the demonstrated prevalence of ostarine in a wide range of supplement products used by athletes (see USADA High Risk List for more than 70 products) and that ostarine has frequently been found as a product contaminant. The trace amounts of ostarine found in each of the athlete’s samples was made possible by sensitive laboratory detection capabilities. However, as detection windows increase and the potential time between ingestion and detection lengthens, it has become more difficult for athletes to identify a contaminated product that may be the source of their positive test. As a consequence, the investigation period in ostarine cases is frequently relatively long, as has been the case in each of the cases announced today.

Nicco Montano, 30, of Albuquerque, N.M., tested positive for ostarine following an out-of-competition test conducted on October 25, 2018. She accepted a six-month period of ineligibility that began on November 15, 2018, the date she was provisionally suspended from competition.

Fighters Only has announced the nominees for the 2019 World MMA Awards.
In addition to the fighters who are up for accolades, four-time winner MMA Fighting was nominated for “Media Source of the Year”, while Chuck Mindenhall was nominated for “Journalist of the Year.”
The MMA Hour was nominated as well for “Best MMA Programming.”

Rountree was born in Los Angeles, California. When he was two years old, his father was shot and killed in an attempted robbery while working as the tour manager for Boyz II Men.
At the age of 20 and weighing 300 lbs., Rountree joined Wand Fight Team gym in the attempt to lose weight. After one year of MMA training, Rountree started his MMA amateur career in 2011.

Werd tijd, uitzendrechten hebben en het dan niet live op hun tv zender uitzenden. Hopelijk blijven ze dit vanaf nu doen, want hun stream is echt drama en voor je tv kijken is veel relaxter dan mobiel/laptop. Niet dat ik deze event ga kijken trouwens.quote:
