Enkele statistieken:
*Het meest voorkomende jaartal is 2014 met 13 stuks gevolgd door 2015 en 2012 die op een gedeelde tweede plaats staan met elk 7 films. 2016 met 6 films, en 2004 met 5 films vervolledigen de top 5.
* Met 44 films is het huidige decennium het meest vertegenwoordigd in de lijst, gevolgd door de 2000's (21 films), de 1990's (15 films) en de 1980's (7 films). De 2000's doen beduidend slechter dan vorig jaar toen het decennium nog over 29 films in de lijst beschikte. Alle andere decennia gaan er echter op vooruit, ten koste van de 2000's.
* De Verenigde Staten zijn het meest vertegenwoordigd in deze lijst met 53 films, een kleine vooruitgang tegenover vorig jaar. Ook de nummers 2, 3 en 4 (Frankrijk met 8 films, het Verenigd Koninkrijk met 7 films en Duitsland met 6 films) hebben een groter aandeel films in de lijst. Grootste verliezer is België dat terugvalt van 9 tot 3 films in de lijst, en staat daardoor samen met Zuid-Korea en Denemarken op een gedeelde vijfde plaats.

Cikx, erg mooie lijst heb je. Zoals ik je al gezegd heb, hoop ik er nog heel veel tips uit te halen, en wie weet verschijnen er enkelen ook wel in één van de komende fok top 100's. Ik had er van een paar al gehoopt ze gezien te kunnen hebben, maar ik heb deze maand echt niet veel gezien, en ik wou niet snel nog een boel films kijken voor deze fok top 100 omdat bij mij films toch wel wat tijd nodig hebben om te bezinken, en dan kan ik me ook een beetje concentreren op wat horrorklassiekers te zien (waarvan er in principe ook wel een paar in de lijst kunnen verschijnen volgend jaar), want horror en mystery als genre ligt me wel.

Uiteraard ook echt prachtige lijst, maar dat wist ik natuurlijk ook al.

Enter The Void moet ik dringend nog eens kijken, zoals ik heb gezegd. Dat heb ik nu dus gelukkig gedaan bij Irreversible en dat resulteerde tot een zeer goede notering. Ik vond de film ook wel gemakkelijker dan verwacht, maar ETV is echt een film waarvoor je tijd moet vrijmaken en in de juiste stemming moet zijn. In principe zal ik de film wel gezien hebben tegen volgend jaar.

Mandy moet ik trouwens ook blijkbaar maar snel gaan kijken. Zeer hoge noteringen. Ik hoop dat dat een film voor mij wordt. Ik moet verder ook nog Seul Contre Tous van Noé zien.

De films van Du Welz moet ik ook eens zien, geen idee of ze wat voor mij zijn. We zullen wel zien. Ik moet ook wat meer Refn zien (Pusher trilogie zal zeker aan bod komen).

La haine lijkt me verder ook wel iets. Reservoir Dogs en The Big Lebowski wil ik nu ook graag zien, omdat Pulp Fiction onverwacht zo een meevaller was. Absoluut nooit gedacht dat dat een film voor mij zou zijn, en om die redenen had ik die films ook nog niet gezien. Dat zal ik volgend jaar wel gedaan hebben. Léon, Into The Wild en Das leben der anderen zijn nog zo een voorbeelden van films die ik eens moet gezien hebben. Apocalypse Now ook trouwens. Tegen volgend jaar denk ik dat dat wel gebeurd zal zijn.

Ik wil ook graag wat meer Koreaanse films zien zoals onder andere Oldeuboi maar ook Memories of Murder, of het meer recente Burning, The Handmaiden en The Wailing. Zuid-Korea heeft zeer veel gerenommeerde films, en de films die ik tot dusver heb gezien liggen me wel.

Horrors als The Texas Chainsaw Massacre en Martyrs wil ik ook zeer graag zien. Sowieso wil ik heel wat horrors gezien hebben. Horror, sf, misdaad en drama (coming-of-ages en sociale drama's) zijn de genres die me het meest boeien.

Amores Perros, Boogie Nights en Snatch zijn nog zo een paar voorbeelden van klassiekers die ik eens moet gezien hebben. Ik kan je zeker garanderen dat dat nog zal gebeuren.

Overall, erg mooie lijst uiteraard met veel raakvlakken met de lijsten van ik en Cikx.

Thanks! Idd veel raakvlakken met jouwe en die van Cikx, beide users die ik graag volg. Leuk dat films zoals Like Me en The Neon Demon enzo in onze terugkomen.

De genres horror, misdaad en drama waardeer ik ook heel erg. Sf vind ik wat minder (volgens mij ook niet echt een SF film in m'n top 100) dus geef mij maar daarvoor in plaats het mystery-genre. Als ik je nog een tip mag geven op het gebied van horror zijn het vooral de Fransen die het als geen ander kunnen. Martyrs, Haute Tension, A l'interieur, Frontiers om er een paar te noemen. Sowieso kan ik de New French Extremity wave wel erg waarderen.

Noé, Refn en Du Welz zijn mijn top 3 regisseurs. Eigenlijk kan ik je al hun films wel aanraden, die van Noé en Refn zullen je wel liggen denk ik. Du Welz is ook wel het proberen waard, in zijn films ligt de focus vooral op het acteerwerk en de relatie tussen de 2 hoofdpersonen. Ik zou alleen niet met Alléluia beginnen, ik denk dat Vinyan of Calvaire (denk Calvaire het meest) het best is om mee te beginnen.

Stiekem vind ik eigenlijk Reservoir Dogs beter dan Pulp Fiction. Pulp Fiction heeft alleen voor mij een grote herkijkwaarde en wat meer humor waardoor ik hem net wat beter waardeer. Films van Alejandro Inarritu en ik denk ook wel van Terrence Malick je zullen liggen. En klassiekers zoals The Big Lebowski, Snatch en Boogie Nights zijn sowieso het kijken waard, ik vind ze erg leuk iig.
Maargoed, ik zal je volgen, ik ben benieuwd wat je van de films gaat vinden en of er nog tips voor mij bij gaan zitten

SF hangt er wel wat van af... moet daar ook nog wel wat van zien, maar Ex Machina, Star Wars originele trilogie, Alien en vervolgen, Blade Runner, The Thing, Gravity, The Martian, Arrival, Terminator en T2, Interstellar, Gattaca, enzovoort zijn wel goed. Marvel, Avatar, Jurassic Park, Planet of the Apes ook wel al is dat misschien niet 'echt' meer sf, en ook geen top 100 materiaal meer. Al vermoed ik nog wel heel wat kleinere sf's te ontdekken, en moet ook nog altijd Snowpiercer, Blade Runner 2049 en Edge of Tomorrow zien. Maar sf in het algemeen ligt me wel wat, denk ook wat meer sf-series te gaan zien.

Qua horror denk ik dat ik heel veel ga kunnen waarderen. Vermoed vooral heel wat oudere horrorcinéma enorm te zullen gaan waarderen. Sfeer is voor mij belangrijk, en horrorfilms kunnen als geen ander sfeer neerzetten in een film. The Exorcist of bijvoorbeeld films als Alien, The Fly, Blade Runner en The Thing hebben een buitengewoon goede sfeer. Dat soort films uit de jaren '80 liggen me wel, dus daar moet ik wel nog wat meer van gaan zien.

Er is nog heel wat om te zien trouwens. El abrazo de la serpiente, About Elly, All is Lost, Lost River, Deliverance, Inferno, Zoe, Hjartasteinn, Good Time, Das Boot, The Bad Batch, Mandy, Paranoid Park, Last Days, Blade Runner 2049 etc... zijn de soort films waarvan ik het meest naar uitkijk om ze te kijken.

Heb sowieso het gevoel dat het huidige aanbod van de afgelopen jaren nauwelijks nog top 100 lijstjes haalt.. natuurlijk zitten er ieder jaar wel uitschieters bij, maar zijn ze direct goed genoeg om tussen al je persoonlijke toppers te belanden?

Grappig, heb deze week maar liefst 3 films uit dit jaar gezien die in mijn top 50 beland zouden zijn: The Limit of Sleeping Beauty, Burning en Sorry to Bother You. Maar goed, ik heb sowieso veel meer met films uit de laatste 20-30 jaar dan met klassiekers, uitzonderingen daargelaten. Zo hebben onafhankelijke filmmakers vandaag de dag veel meer middelen om een hoogstaande film in elkaar te zetten, is er op audiovisueel gebied meer te beleven en is de stijl van acteren ingetogener geworden naar mijn idee.

Had misschien nog even moeten wachten met mijn lijstje te plaatsen.
