Persoonlijk vind ik het ook niet zo sterk bewijs voor mensen op de maan. Een rover of lander met een grotere reflector dan ze eerder aan boord hadden is nog wel voor te stellen. Wat het imo wel zeker is, is bewijs voor menselijke spullen op de maanquote:

Misschien kunnen ze gewoon 'n robotje daar op de maan laten landen en wat van de achtergelaten 'apollo mission ' troep gaan opruimen en terug naar Aarde brengen ipv van 'n veel meer gecompliceerder, levensgevaarlijker, ingewikkelder, duurdere, risicovolle project van maken.

If any of the 'moonlandings' were at all possible in the first place, another moon landing to one of the Apollo sites (manned or not) would create fantastic marketing, advertising, public relations opportunities for many different companies and would capture the imagination and interest of millions of people of all age groups, all over the world.
It would be an advertising agency dream and a huge PR coup for any political party.
It would also be of great interest for scientific research and educational purposes and be inspirational for millions of school kids throughout the world.
If it were really possible to land on the moon there would be big engineering, telecom corporations etc. and politicians queueing up to support and take advantage of such projects. Er worden zovaak en zoveel geld over balken gesmeten, kijk bijvb naar de laatste olympische spelen, bijna al die stadions die miljoenen hebben gekost word grotendeels helemaal niet meer gebruikt.
