- Increases "Trust in data": This is ensured by IOTA's cryptographically secure system for compliance audits.
- Additional data security: All traditional issues such as data corruption, security vulnerabilities and fraud are prevented by the technology.
In April 2018, Fujitso published an elaborate post on why IOTA's technology is one of the most notable in the blockchain industry. Fujitsu has listed five points to support in favor of IOTA:
1. Transaction rate: Unlike other blockchain networks, IOTA's transaction speed increases with an increase in adoption.
2. Scalability: IOTA does not face any scalability issues. Scalability increases with an increase in transactions. Theoretically, transaction confirmation times should reach zero as users increase considerably.
3. Supports micropayments
4. Do not involve any kind of mining.
5. Verifiable security against manipulation: Fujitsu's post argues that blockchain can avoid data manipulation, but cannot prove that no manipulation has taken place. As a result, industry faces legal uncertainty.

.Wel respect dat je het doet hoor, ook al vind ik IOTA zelf helemaal niks.
Ik verwacht dat de Tangle-technologie binnen een paar jaar de IoT standaard zal zijn voor verschillende industrieën. Maar ik verwacht niet dat de IOTA token daadwerkelijk op grote schaal gebruikt gaat worden. Daarmee is de token op dit moment niet meer dan een manier om IOTA Foundation te financieren.

De NATO Cooperative cyber defence centre of exellence (NATO CCDCOE) werd opgericht op 14 mei 2008. Deze eenheid bevindt zich in Estland in de stad Tallinn. Op 28 oktober 2008 kreeg deze eenheid de officiële status van militaire organisatie. Het doel van deze eenheid binnen de NAVO is het verhinderen van cyberaanvallen tegen NAVO-instanties.
