De "C." is niet te vinden in die bronnen. Wel de geboortedatum, die is gelijk aan wat jij hebt gevonden.quote:

Ik heb nu twee setjes kandidaten voor Vincent Paolino, allebei uit de AAD Archives, maar ze zijn totaal niet aan elkaar te correleren 
Lijstje 1 geeft 5 man met SSN, geboortedatum en sterfdatum, en lijstje 2 geeft 3 man met Army serial number, enlistment date, woonplaats en oh ja geboorteJAAR. Dat is het enige waarvan je zou kunnen zeggen "misschien zijn die en die wel dezelfde". Maar we weten dus niet eens of 5+3 nou 6, 7 of 8 is

Als docent military science and tactics lesgegeven op de Northwestern Military and Naval Academy. En o.a. als briefing officer bij U.S. Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) in Saigon gediend. Gedurende zijn periode in Vietnam de Legion of Merit ontvangen.

Ik heb wel een registratiekaart gevonden van een Lawrence Holtz waarvan de handtekening echt veel lijkt op de handtekening op het biljet. Maar die registratiekaart is van 20 oktober 1944, bovendien pas zijn 18e verjaardag.
Volgens mij is hem dat gewoon, en heeft hij het biljet kennelijk niet op 1 maart 1944 getekend. EN dus misschien ook niet in de buurt van Cassino.
