(Cormier has Johnson on the mat and is setting up a choke)

(Johnson submits to Cormier via rear-naked choke)
Hooft: Why, why the (expletive) does this happen every (expletive) time, man? Crazy.
After the fight, Johnson surprised the crowd and retired from the sport. He sought out Hooft before he made his announcement, but Hooft was nowhere to be found.

De TDD van Mousasi viel mij wat tegen. Weidman haalde hem wel erg een paar makkelijk naar de grond. Wel goede verdediging op de grond, dat dan wel weer. Maar tegen Jacare of Romero is hij de lul als hij zo vecht.
De scheids zag het verkeerd. Een blunder wellicht, maar zonder herhaling en vertraging snap ik dat dit best lastig te zien is voor een scheids.
Weidman vraagt er zelf om door op deze manier 'gebruik' te maken van de regels voor een 'downed opponent'. Vecht als een kerel.
