Last One Laughing – December 14
The new Prime Original series LOL: Last One Laughing is an adaptation of the wildly popular Prime Original series in Japan, HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents Documental, produced and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto who leads ten famed Mexican comedians who bet money in an anything goes “battle of laughter behind closed doors”. The six-part Prime Original series follows the select group of talented comics who are yet to be unveiled, and come from various styles including stand-up, character, improvisational and physical comedy, among others. LOL: Last One Laughing marks the return of Eugenio Derbez to a series since 2012 after spending his entire TV career writing, producing, directing and starring in Mexican comedies and dramas. In the last six years he has produced and starred in a string of internationally successful feature films including Instructions Not Included, How to be a Latin Lover, and most recently Overboard.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Seasons 5-7 – December 20
The detectives that are part of the NYPD's Special Victims Unit investigate crimes of sexual nature, such as rapes, in which the victim survives and assists authorities in the investigation. The series features a cast of veteran actors, including Mariska Hargitay, Richard Belzer, Dann Florek and, after the first season, rapper Ice-T. Occasional crossover episodes feature detectives from other series in the `Law & Order' franchise.
