China haalt even een paar verwachte plakken op. Stann echter al voor de zwemcompetitie achter op de VS. De 'strijd' lijkt al beslist. Om de plaatsen daarachter is het spannend. Hongarije koerst af op een mooie top 10 klassering en Japan staat er voorlopig erg sterk voor.

Hongarije is beetje zoals Nederland in 2000/2004 met een hele sterke zwemmer. Dan haal je al snel 3/4 extra goud. Het is voor onze top-15 te hopen dat Ranomi wat pakt.

Duitsland is wel echt stuitend zwak begonnen zeg.

Japan, geen idee wat die verder nog gaan doen. Geen sterke atletiek toch? Medailles zijn op dit moment 80% judo ofzo, geen idee wat die verder nog kunnen pakken. Zelfde met Korea dit het in het begin altijd goed doen met boogschieten en pistool maar daarna zakken.

Baat 't niet, schaadt 't niet. Dus slikken, kreng.

Judo, turnen en straks ook worstelen zijn doorgaans de Japanse succesnummers. In het zwembad hebben ze ook al wat eremetaal trouwens. Japan ligt prima op koers voor 2020, lijkt het.
