Nadat ik Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler zag dacht ik eigenlijk dat die sowieso een nominatie zou krijgen voor beste acteur, maar blijkbaar zijn er nog 5 rollen waar ik naar uit kan kijken

Vond het ook raar, volgens mij is alleen The Social Network van Fincher ooit genomineerd en films als Fight Club, Se7en en Zodiac kan ik nergens bekennen als ik naar de lijstjes van nominees kijk.quote:

Inderdaad, in beide gevallen filsm die dit jaar in mijn top 5 staan. Alhoewel ik van de lijst alleen maar Whiplash en Grand Budapest heb gezien.quote:

Opvallende dat de laatste jaren de Foreign Language films wat relatief gezien bekendere films geworden zijn. Is daar wat veranderd in de selectie procedure?
Het kwam eerst heel vaak voor dat ik 3 of 4 van de films nog nooit gehoord had, maar de afgelopen jaren ken ik ze meestal in elk geval van naam al. (Alleen van Timbuktu had ik nog niet gehoord dit jaar bijv.)

En ze mogen zeggen wat ze willen, Steve Carell is een bijrol, geen hoofdrol. Zet die in de plaats van Duvall en doe Gyllenhaal bij beste acteur. Everybody happy.

Zoals velen hier vraag ik me af waarom the academy Gone Girl en Interstellar niet genomineerd hebben voor best picture. Ik hoop dat Birdman en keaton in de prijzen gaan vallen en The grand budapest hotel voor best cinematography!

Voor Bradley Cooper al zijn 3e nominatie op rij. Voorgaande jaren al genomineerd geweest als beste mannelijke hoofdrol en beste mannelijke bijrol.
