According to the source, ex-president Leonid Kuchma will continue to participate in the negotiations.
A reminder that Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Andriy Parubiy called Medvedchuk a criminal who in recent years has helped terrorists. Putin's godfather, in turn, demanded a meeting of the NSDC and that Parubiy refute his remarks.

quote:Kiev bereidt offensief Donetsk voor
dinsdag 8 jul 2014, 17:02 (Update: 08-07-14, 17:19)

Commenting on President Poroshenko's discussions with the Italian foreign minister, Federica Mogherini, the Ukrainian president's press service said:
"The president praised the efforts of Germany and France, which allowed the formation of the so-called "Normandy four" [Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France] with the participation of Russia. Still, according to him, the international influence could be much stronger if Italy and Britain joined France and Germany."
quote:Two More Lenin Statues Fall Overnight
Two statues of Lenin were toppled last night in Ukraine.
One of the statues was torn down in the village of Chervona Sloboda in the northern Sumy region.
Interfax-Ukraine reports that the Ukrainian Communist Party has confirmed the removal of the statue and is pursuing criminal charges:
"Law enforcers have established that vandals damaged the monument by having it pulled down from the pedestal by a tractor and a tow," the statement said.
Another statue was torn down in the town of Bilozerka in the southern Kherson region. Tired of waiting for the authorities' decision, Ukrainian activists came to Bilozerka and dismantled the monument to Lenin by themselves. The police did not interfere with the will of the people.

We are not publicising details of this plan. It should be a nasty surprise for the terrorists.

Though Borodai said he had been in "consultations" in Russia, many rebels now reproach President Vladimir Putin's administration in Moscow, which is under threat from further Western sanctions, for giving them too little help.quote:Frankly speaking, we didn't believe them when we got phone calls saying they were leaving Slaviansk. I hope Strelkov did not come here in order to go away. There will not be one single commander here ... because if Mr Strelkov suddenly chooses to leave Donetsk, with the aim of preserving the lives of the people of Donetsk and the lives of the volunteers, then we will not follow his order.
