Video Vladimir Putin rides a Harley Davidson with a biker gang in Russia

A group of Russian bikers called the Night Wolves that regularly rides with President Vladimir Putin is heading to Ukraine to back pro-Russian protests, its leader said Friday. 
Putin has ridden a Harley-Davidson with the bikers and called them his "brothers". He is said to be close to its long-haired leader, Alexander Zaldostanov, nicknamed "the Surgeon". 
The patriotic group opposes Ukraine's European integration and the protest movement that has taken power in Kiev. Its website says its members are "ready to die like warriors". 
12.45 Breaking news from the wires: French, German and Polish foreign ministers are urging all parties to "refrain from any action endangering territorial integrity of Ukraine".

12.36 Meanwhile, back in Kiev, the government says it is considering declaring a state of emergency in Crimea. 
Andriy Paruby, secretary of the National security and Defence Council, said: 
Quote It is one of the options in the development of events. 
But he said, even if this did occur, it would not mean deploying the army and existing security units would still have to handle the situation. 
Quote So we are looking for other more effective ways of localising the situation on the Crimean peninsula.  
12.20 It seems Ukraine authorities have regained control of both Crimea airports. 
"There was an attempt to seize the airports, but we have localised those attempts. The airports are now controlled by Ukrainian law enforcement authorities," said Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council chief Andriy Parubiy. 
He said that people who had tried to seize the airports were now manning roadblocks near the airports.
