[NFL] 2013-2014 #2 OTA & Trainingcamp

De release die je wist dat zou komen is eindelijk daar.

De Eagles en Bucs hebben al aangegeven geen interesse te hebben. Ik denk dat hij van positie zal moeten veranderen om door een team opgepikt te worden. De meeste teams zien in hem gewoon geen QB.

Op een gegeven moment moet hij wel ingeven.

Patriots, het zou mij niets verbazen.

- Geen QB controversy
- BB/McDaniels zijn fan en BB/Urban Meyer hebben historie
- BB heeft een historie om schijt te hebben aan media en doet waar zijn team beter van word
- Stabiele organisatie die met het hele Tebow Circus om kan gaan
- Een deel van de Offense die zij lopen lijkt op het oude Florida systeem waar Tebow in speelde
- Als er 1 coach is die Tebow meerdere posities kan laten spelen (al was hij daartoe ook bereid in NYC) is het BB wel

Erg ongelukkige tijd voor Tebow, krijg nu maar eens een team als alle rosters zo goed als vol zitten.

Jets:

Ik volg het allemaal maar van een afstand, maar vind de Jets situatie wel interessant. Hoorde vandaag op een podcast het idee om Geno Smith te starten. Sanchez heeft "toch" een aflopend contract, waardoor een eventuele goede prestatie van hem tot alleen maar meer problemen zal zorgen omtrent een verlenging. Daarnaast kom je erachter of Smith misschien wel een steal is geweest in de draft. En als alles mislukt ben je in ieder geval van Sanchez af, heb je gezien wat Smith kan en heb je een nieuwe (top 3) pick in een veel betere QB-draft. Anyway, just my two cents.

Ik denk dat de Jets Sanchez ook wel dumpen, cut your loses. Daarna zullen ze starten met Garrard en Smith als backup.

Tebow moet zich gewoon schikken als TE of misschien zelfs RB als hij ooit nog is in de NFL wil spelen. Kan natuurlijk ook Canada nog proberen als QB, maar denk dat ie in de NFL niet meer als QB aan de bak komt

Als dit word toegestaan dan zullen in de toekomst meer teams dit gaan doen.Ik ben dan ook erg benieuwd hoe de NFLPA hierop gaat reageren. Maurice Cleret sloeg ooit eens guaranteed money af toen hij zijn rookie contract kreeg maar dat was zijn eigen voorstel.

Ik kan mij niet voorstellen dat een dergelijk contract geaccepteerd wordt.

Zijn agent noemde het al onzin. Ze hebben geen moeite met de drugs testing maar hij zal echt wel zorgen dat Matthieu z'n guaranteed money krijgt.

Sports agents often make big promises they can't keep. We don't know what transpired between Smith and his agents, but he's well within his rights to fire them if they didn't deliver.

Wat een diva... Eerst niet meer op willen komen dagen en nu dit weer. Misschien moet ie eerst wat waar gaan maken in de NFL. Lijkt me ook niet echt een team player.

Snap ook niet dat ze deze test nog steeds blijven doen, maar wel opvallende score. Denk alleen niet dat iemand er waarde aan hecht. Misschien bij QB.

Zelfs daar niet, er is helemaal geen correlatie naar prestatie op het veld en resultaat van de wonderlic test. Ja bij TE en CB maar die correlatie is negatief, dwz spelers die slechter scoorden op de test haalden beter resultaat op het veld

Het is een suffe achterhaalde methode die afgeschaft moet worden
