De FBI heeft op aanwijzen van Dzokhar zitten zoeken op een vuinisbelt bij de plaats New Bedford naar zijn laptop, die daar zou moeten liggen. Onbekend of die gevonden is.
Tevens buigen lawyers zich over de vraag of dat wat Dzokhar heeft zitten vertellen in de 16 uur voordat zijn Miranda rights zijn voorgelezen, wel kan worden gebruikt. Er wordt ook gekeken of de pijnstillers die hij kreeg toegediend heeft bijgedragen aan het al dan niet vrijwillig praten.

a) Hij wordt berecht als burger van de USA, niet als 'buitenlandse krijger'
b) Je kan berecht worden volgens staats recht (in dit geval MA en dus geen doodstraf) of federaal recht, wel doodstraf. Dit is geen keuze van de president maar wordt bepaald doordat de verdachte zich schuldig maakt aan een 'Federal crime'. Aangezien de FBI betrokken was vanaf het begin is het volgens mij duidelijk dat het idd een federal crime is om een bom te laten ontploffen in een menigte

In Rusland vraagt hij een paspoort aan, verzuimt dat op te halen voordat hij terugvliegt, en als hij weer in de US is, is hij een jaar te laat voor het aanvragen van het U.S. staatsburgersschap.
Dus geen geldige documenten meer, geen bokscarriere of studie meer, en nog meer vervreemd van het Amerikaanse leven.

(Reuters) - Three additional suspects have been taken into custody in the investigation of last month's bombings at the Boston Marathon, the Boston Police Department said in its official Twitter feed on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman, Katherine Shea, said by telephone that she had no further details to provide. "It's happening right now," Shea said.
Investigators had previously identified two suspects, ethnic Chechen brothers they said placed pressure-cooker bombs at the race's finish line on April 15.
One, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, is being held in a prison medical center after being formally charged with crimes that carry the death penalty. His older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died in a gunfight with police three days after the bombing that killed three people and injured 264 others.
Tamerlan's body has still not been claimed, a spokesman for the state's chief medical examiner said.
"We still have not been contacted by the family," said the spokesman, Terrel Harris.
The parents of the Tsarnaev brothers have said in interviews in the North Caucasus region of Russia that they do not believe their sons were responsible for the bombs.

OSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Three new suspects have been taken into custody in the Boston Marathon bombings investigation, the Boston Police Dept. tweeted Wednesday morning.
The development comes as investigators have continued to scrutinize two of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's classmates at UMass-Dartmouth.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's alleged associates are natives of Kazakhstan and have already been detained by U.S. immigration officials for alleged immigration violations.
Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev were in federal immigration court earlier Wednesday morning on those matters, a government source said; however, the court hearing was delayed.
Authorities were not immediately saying who the three detained were or if Tsarnaev's two classmates were part of the new group of suspects.
An attorney for Kadyrbayev has told media outlets that the two young men have been interviewed by FBI agents and that they were cooperating.
The Boston Police Dept. broke the news in a tweet, writing, "Three additional suspects taken into custody in Marathon bombing case. Details to follow." The Boston Police Dept. says there is no threat to the public.
Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, two ethnic Chechen brothers from southern Russia, are accused of planting two explosives near the marathon finish line April 15, killing three people and injuring more than 260. Tamerlan, 26, was killed during a getaway attempt in Watertown. Dzhokhar, 19, was transferred Friday from a Boston hospital to a federal prison medical center in Devens.

Russell's lawyer claims she had no prior knowledge of the attacks and is doing everything she can to help the investigation.
Female DNA was found on bomb components used in the attack this month on the Boston Marathon, a source familiar with the investigation confirmed to Fox News, though the source cautioned that it is too early to draw hard conclusions from that evidence. "No one should expect that the investigation is over," the source told Fox News in confirming the development first reported by the Wall Street Journal, adding that it is just one piece of evidence that investigators are looking at.
