Gerndt, 26, was sentenced to almost a year ago in the Helsingborg District Court to probation and to pay damages of 6,700 kronor to exfrun. He also was acquitted on several counts in the indictment.
He was suspended from the national team after the judgment - but the suspension was lifted in april. He is not included in the squad that will face England on Wednesday.
When the case is now taken up again in the Court of Appeals for Skåne and Blekinge, want prosecutor Tom Svensson and that Gerndts punishment sharpened to a prison sentence, and that football star convicted of all charges.
Gerndts ex-wife wants compensation amount will be increased to a total of 21,700 dollars. Gerndt denies the charges and wish to be freed completely.
The district court sentenced Alexander Gerndt including for kicking a football on exhustruns thigh when the then the pair played football in his garden in autumn 2010.
