This title was originally released on Game Boy but then received its own Game Boy Color version: Europe will receive the latter, the the higher price may be worth it to see Zombie Wario in colour. Las in andere reviews dat 3D op de XL wel wat mooier lijkt te zijn omdat het scherm groter is (en 3D daardoor dieper leek te zijn), heb je daar niks van gemerkt?

Leuke review van de 3DS XL Pheno! Zat wel een beetje te twijfelen gezien de inruil aanbieding van Gamemania, maar wacht toch nog maar even. Dat het huidige model te klein zou zijn vind ik ook wel aardig meevallen. De behuizing is even groot als die van de DSlite. Hoewel ik toch wel stiekem wat nieuwsgierig ben naar het grotere scherm.

Courtesy of inside-gamer.jp, it's been confirmed that the initial download (excluding save data) of New Super Mario Bros. 2 will require 2950 blocks, which is about 370MB: just over one sixth of the 2GB card included with the standard 3DS model. It's not enormous, by any stretch, especially as Resident Evil Revelations is reportedly around 3.17GB, around twice the size of Kid Icarus: Uprising at 1.61GB — the majority of 3DS titles seem sit at around 0.5GB or less. In fact it's easy to see why NSMB2 represents Nintendo's first dalliance with a 3DS retail download, as it's at the lower end of the file size scale. For those interested, Demon Training is also due in Japan this week, and it's only an initial 1600 blocks, around 200MB.

En toch zweren velen bij digitale downloads ook voor grotere games. Ben wel eens benieuwd naar hun leeftijd en of ze idd nadenken over iets fysieks vasthouden of door kunnen verkopen. On principe ben je een dief van je eigen portomonee als je alles maar op je sdkaartje zet.
Je wilt toch je gamescollectie zien groeien in je kast? Verzamelen is menselijk. En is het spel niets, dan doorverkopen en van dat geld weer wat anders kopen. Kleine games van een paar euro is idd wat anders.

Het belangrijkste vind ik trouwens dat je totaal geen invloed hebt over je games. Er zijn genoeg games die zomaar uit de betreffende digitale store verwijderd worden. Je koopt in zulke gevallen enkel de licentie, niet de game. Je wordt niet de eigenaar.

Voor de Vita koop ik ook alleen maar op cartridge, op een paar digital-only games na dan. Maargoed, daarvoor hoef ik niet zoveel te kopen, het aanbod is net zo prut als dat het in het begin op de 3DS was.
Zou er nog een Advance Wars komen? Natuurlijk heb je Ghost Recon etc, maar dat is een ander sfeertje dan Advance Wars.

Mogen en kunnen is nog wel een verschil natuurlijk
Oude 3DS verkocht met een paar gedownloade spellen erop. Zou graag zien dat je gewoon als bij Applespul kan inloggen op een nieuwe 3DS en dan de boel weer kan downloaden.
Of beter nog: dat je een spel op meerdere DS'en kunt downloaden (aangezien je een normaal spel ook maar 1 keer hoeft te kopen als je meerdere DS'en in huis hebt.
Oude 3DS verkocht met een paar gedownloade spellen erop. Zou graag zien dat je gewoon als bij Applespul kan inloggen op een nieuwe 3DS en dan de boel weer kan downloaden.
Of beter nog: dat je een spel op meerdere DS'en kunt downloaden (aangezien je een normaal spel ook maar 1 keer hoeft te kopen als je meerdere DS'en in huis hebt.

Waar, al vind ik Virtual Console-games toch iets anders. Dat slaat nergens op, maar ik denk dat ik ze onbewust ook zie als kleinere games.quote:
