Half half. Het verhaal is in grote lijnen afgerond, maar er staan nog wel vragen open net zoals enkele subplotten.quote:Op zaterdag 1 december 2012 00:35 schreef ClapClapYourHands het volgende:

quote:New York, NY – December 12, 2012 – AMC announced today the renewal of “Hell On Wheels” for a third season with John Wirth (“V” “Fallen Skies” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) serving as executive producer and showrunner. Season three of the series has been greenlit for ten, one-hour episodes and is scheduled to premiere in third quarter 2013.
quote:The Cancellation Bear has made a preemptive strike. Deadline reports that ABC has decided to shelve supernatural drama Weird Desk which was picked up for 13 episodes last week without going through the usual development and pilot process. Apparently, it was proving too costly to get the show into production in time for its scheduled launch next summer. The show has a slim chance at resurrection. The network will take another look at it after pilot season.

AMC also jointly announces with Glen Mazzara today that for future seasons, the two parties have mutually decided to part ways. Glen guided the series creatively for seasons 2 and 3. AMC is grateful for his hard work. We are both proud of our shared success.
Both parties acknowledge that there is a difference of opinion about where the show should go moving forward, and conclude that it is best to part ways. This decision is amicable and Glen will remain on for post-production on season 3B as showrunner and executive producer.

Well it’s not like the show wasn’t already cancelled. But to put another nail in the 666 Park Ave. coffin, ABC is pulling the remaining episodes from its schedule.
Starting Jan. 6, comedies Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B—- in Apt. 23 will run Sunday nights in the former 666 slot. Endings will air at 10 p.m.; Apt. 23 at 10:30 p.m. The duo will still air on Tuesdays, as well, at least until the Dancing With the Stars results show takes over.
An ABC spokesperson says the network still plans to continue running the remaining episodes of Thursday’s similarly axed Last Resort, if that’s any consolation. The remaining episodes of 666 will likely air sometime this summer.

Farewell, Timothy Hutton: TNT announced that its five-year-old drama starring the Ordinary People star will end its run on Christmas Day.
“Leverage has thrilled audiences with its delightfully intricate plots, its stand up for the little guy attitude and its terrific performances
from stars Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge,” a TNT spokeswoman said in a statement. “But after five wonderful years, it’s time to say goodbye. Leverage will come to a close on Christmas at 9 p.m., with a series finale that stands as one of the show’s best episodes.
We are honored to have worked with executive producer Dean Devlin, Electric Entertainment, creators John Rogers and Chris Downey, and all the cast and production crew on Leverage. We look forward to exploring new opportunities to work with them again in the future. We also want to thank the passionately devoted fans of Leverage, who have been the driving force behind its success.”
Devlin recently said in an open letter on Leveragefans.com that the Dec. 25 could be its last. The drama follows Nate Ford (Hutton), a former insurance investigator turned thief who has partnered with grifter Sophie Devereaux (Bellman); retrieval specialist Eliot Spencer (Kane); gadget wizard Alec Hardison (Hodge); and the athletic Parker (Riesgraf).
“As of the writing of this letter, we still do not know if there will be a season six of our show.,” Devlin said on the website. “ Just as we didn’t know when we created the last three episodes which are about to air. Because of this uncertainty, John Rogers and I decided to end this season with the episode we had planned to make to end the series, way back when we shot the pilot. So, the episode that will air on Christmas is, in fact, the series finale we had always envisioned.”

quote:'How I Met Your Mother' Renewed for a 9th Season
On a ratings basis, the renewal of How I Met Your Mother was never in doubt, but whether the cast wanted to come back wasn't as certain. Deadline's Nikki Finke reports deals have been closed with all the cast members and the series will be renewed for a 9th season. The series had been in the final year of its deal and the creators had been pushing for everything to get resolved by the end of December so they could do the necessary build-up to the series finale reveal this season if necessary. Apparently all the cast were on-board to return except for Jason Segel: "But he just got turned around today at the last second. The show was literally dead,” according to Finke.

XCLUSIVE: Lifetime is closing the book on dramedy Drop Dead Diva after four seasons. I’ve learned that the cable network has opted not to order a fifth season of the show starring Brooke Elliott as a dead aspiring model trapped in the body of an intelligent, curvy lawyer. The decision comes three months after Season 4 of Drop Dead Diva wrapped its run on Lifetime. I hear the series producer Sony Pictures TV may shop it elsewhere.
