On Thursday Sinéad O'Connor penned an extraordinary open-letter to Miley Cyrus, warning her that the music industry will 'prostitute' her at any means.
Now Britney Spears has spoken out about the pressures of being hyper-sexualised, especially when it comes to her racy music videos. In her latest offering Work B**ch, the 32-year-old is seen clad in leather underwear, playing master in various bondage-themed situations, including a scene where she holds leather-clad women on a leash.

Speaking to the TJ Show on AMP 103.3 in Boston on Thursday morning, Britney admitted that she feels immense pressure to make over-sexualised music videos.
She also revealed that she put her foot down when it came to Work B**ch, cutting half of the original footage because she believed it was far too racy for her taste. The mother-of-two said that she wished she could go back to the 'old days', when music videos were more focused on the music and dancing rather than the sexy outfits and raunchy antics.

'A lot of sex goes into what I do. But sometimes I would like to bring it back to the old days when there was like one outfit through the whole video, and you’re dancing the whole video, and there’s like not that much sex stuff going on,' she said. 'It’s about the dance and it’s about being old school, it’s like keeping it real and just making it about the dance. I’d love to do a video like that.'
Britney told the radio hosts that she was forced to take control when it came to Work B**ch, removing half of the racy content from the clip in an effort to stay 'true to herself' and protect her young boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

'Oh my god, we showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video than what is actually there,' she said. 'Like, I cut out half the video because I am a mother and because, you know, I have children, and it’s just hard to play sexy mom while you’re being a pop star as well.' 'I just have to be true to myself and you know, feel it out when I do stuff,' she added. Work B**ch is just one of the many racy videos Britney has released throughout the course of her career.

In her 2001 hit Slave 4 U, she is seen writhing around in a pair of leather trousers worn with a g-string over the top. And in 2003's Toxic, Britney barely covers her modesty in a nude bodysuit complete with strategically places diamantes. But Britney's latest videos is one of her raciest yet.
The clip opens with Britney dancing in front of a white wall sporting a skimpy metallic two-piece, her blonde hair curling over her shoulders. She is then seen posing beside a lit-up mirror in the middle of a desert, before standing on a dancefloor in the same landscape slowly moving her hips. You wanna,' she is heard repeating, then, 'You wanna Maserati, you wanna a hot body' followed by, 'you better work, b****.'

She then wields a whip in a bondage-inspired scene with a woman crawling on her hands and knees.
Scenes then flash by of her gyrating with scantily-clad dancers, in the desert and in a club.
A white sportscar is then seen circling the desert dancefloor as Britney continues to bust some moves.
'You wanna live fancy, live in a big mansion, party in France, you better work b****,' she sings.
After another BDSM scene in a nightclub, Britney wears a flowing fuchsia dress slit right up to the hip as she dances in the middle of a shark-infested pool.
The video ends with her standing on an upside down white pyramid as she holds a number of leashes tied to various women clad in bondage gear.
Shortly after Britney made her comments on air, her father Jamie Spears and longtime manager Larry Rudolph claimed that the pop star was never pressured into anything she didn't want to do.
'Britney is never pressured into anything,' they told TMZ. 'She reviews all creative and for her 'Work Bitch' video she discussed toning down some parts in finding a balance of sexy and being a mom.'
Larry has long acted as Britney's manager, representing her from 1999–2004, briefly in 2007, and from 2008 to present.
Jamie, meanwhile, has been in control of his daughter's financial and legal affairs since January 2010, following her split from fiance and co-conservator Jason Trawick, after the pop star was put under conservatorship several years ago following her very public meltdown.
Britney's comments also fall on the same day that Sinéad O'Connor wrote an open letter to fellow pop star Miley Cyrus, who shares the same manager as Britney, Larry Rudolph.

The Irish songstress warned Miley, who has been raising eyebrows with her controversial VMA's performance with Robin Thicke and her new nude video clip for Wrecking Ball, that the music industry will 'prostitute' her.
'I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way ‘cool’ to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos,' she wrote.
'The music business doesn’t give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted.. and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, ‘they’ will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone.'
