you:
Hello
Gaurav:
Hey.
you:
I am having alot of problems with BF3
Gaurav:
Okay.
you:
When i installed it (i have a physical game, two DVD's), it never asked for my second DVD, which i found weird, i installed it multiple times, never asked for second DVD, now it is installed and all in Origin, but when i click on Play in origin, it says 'Launching Battlefield 3', but Battlelog never pops up
you:
So i go to Battlelog manually, i try to Quick Game a multiplayer game or Campaign, tried both multiple times, but it keeps on 'Initializing (Campaign) or 'Matchmaking(MP)' endlessly, and i never get in
you:
The game has never even opened for me
Gaurav:
Please uninstall your game manually and then re install it .
you:
How do i manually reinstall it
you:
Because i went to my software in control panel, and deleted it, then i tried reinstalled it, still no changes
you:
also tried repairing it
Gaurav:
I will provide you the steps for it and if you still face any error then get back to us again.
you:
Okay, first before i uninstall, is it normal that it never asked me for my second DVD?
Gaurav:

you:
Theres no battlefield 3 folder in my Documents >.>
Gaurav:
May be this can be the reason as your game is not installed properly.
you:
Could be yes
Gaurav:
Uninstall your game your way, reinstall it and if still you hae issue then do it with the steps.
you:
There is a Battlefield folder in Computer>Disk C>Program Files>Origin Games
Gaurav:
Uninstall it and if still any issue then get back to us.
Gaurav:
Is there anything else 'I can help you with ?
you:
Well you said maybe thats why the game isnt playing, but i read the thing you send me and it says 'Backup the save data', but isnt it obvious i dont have any save data since i just explained to you i havent been able to play the game at all?
you:
Then its not that strange that theres not a save data folder in my documents...
Gaurav:
It is just an option like if you want to save anything.
you:
I know that, just saying that you said that the fact that there's no Battlefield 3 folder in My Documents might be the reason why the game isnt working, just saying thats not right, since that folder would only be created if i would have save games, but since i said i dont have save games, the folder not being there is quite obvious.
you:
But ill try the steps you provided me with, and if it doesnt work, i will try again.
you:
Thanks for the help i guess, and lets hope i wont have to speak to you again, meaning the game will run after this.
Gaurav:
Sure
Gaurav:
Bye.
