Hierin gaat de mooie, succesvolle en vrijgezelle Ali Fedotowsky (25) op zoek naar haar toekomstige echtgenoot. Bij de start staan 25 single mannen voor haar klaar, die tot het uiterste gaan om Ali’s hart te veroveren. Dit gaat gepaard met dramatische rozenceremonies, veel romantiek en nog meer rivaliteit, want uiteindelijk maakt maar één van de mannen kans op een romantisch huwelijksaanzoek.
In het zesde seizoen van The Bachelorette staat de 25-jarige Ali Fedotowsky centraal. De oplettende kijker heeft haar vorig jaar al in The Bachelor op Net5 kunnen zien. Ali was in seizoen 14 van het moment dat ze uit de limo stapte favoriet bij de kijker en bij Bachelor Jake Pavelka. Aan haar Bachelor-avontuur kwam echter een abrupt einde toen Ali een hartverscheurende beslissing nam en moest kiezen tussen haar geliefde baan en doorgaan met Jake. Ze koos verrassend genoeg voor haar carrière, een beslissing waar ze al snel spijt van kreeg.
Nu is de mooie, energieke en charismatische carrièrevrouw terug. Ali heeft haar huis en baan achter zich gelaten en is vastbesloten de man van haar dromen te vinden. Ze heeft 25 knappe, avontuurlijke maar uiteenlopende mannen om uit te kiezen. Gedurende de reeks leert Ali de mannen steeds beter kennen. Ze reizen naar exotische locaties en brengen veel tijd door met elkaar. Ali zal haar mannen ook voorstellen aan haar familie en vrienden en van hen ook bekenden ontmoeten. Wekelijks zal ze echter iemand naar huis moeten sturen, totdat haar ware liefde overblijft.
