Speciaal voor hun 25ste trouwdag boekt een stel een vakantie in het Caribische gebied, in hetzelfde hotel waar ze verbleven tijdens hun huwelijksreis.
Vanwege haar werk kan de vrouw niet direct mee; ze zal haar man een paar dagen later nareizen.
Bij aankomst in het hotel ziet de man dat er een computer met internetverbinding aanwezig is. Hij besluit zijn vrouw een e-mail te sturen maar vergeet per ongeluk een letter in het adres.
Daardoor komt het bericht bij de verkeerde persoon terecht: een weduwe die net terug is van de begrafenis van haar echtgenoot.
Ze valt direct flauw als ze haar e-mail leest. Haar zoon vindt zijn moeder op de grond bij de pc. Op het beeldscherm leest hij het volgende bericht:
Lieveling, ik ben goed aangekomen. Waarschijnlijk had je geen e-mail van me verwacht maar ze hebben hier tegenwoordig een computer met internetverbinding.
Bij mijn aankomst heb ik me ervan verzekerd dat alles is voorbereid voor jouw komst aanstaande vrijdag.
Ik verlang ernaar je snel ,weer te zien en hoop dat jouw reis net zo voorspoedig zal verlopen als de mijne.
