Ik zag het gister op Nieuwsuur, redelijk heftige beelden. Een van de weinige keren dat geheim agenten voor het oog van camera's hun werk doen, en zelfs ook tegen buitenlandse journalisten.quote:

Toch gek dat men ook massaal op Fok achter de aanval op Libie staat en tegen die op Irak was, kijk ook eens dit filmpje, meer mensen valt het op.

Dat gevoel blijft mij ook bekruipen bij de journaals op de Nederlandse TV als wij de zogenaamde rebellen zien en men ze als helden wil voordoen.
Paar minuten geleden een SMS'je van oude bekenden die in Sirt wonen, met de mededeling dat alle Gaddafi elementen de stad uit zijn en dat de mensen op straat in de lucht aan het schieten zijn.

Goed nieuws dat Sirt waarschijnlijk zonder al teveel ellende lijkt te zijn ingenomen, al zou er nog sprake zijn van coalitie bombardementen in of rond de stad.

Sky News producer Tom Rayner, reporting from Tripoli, said: "We heard at least four explosions, about 30 seconds apart.
"They were seemingly within the city and anti-aircraft fire commenced after the blasts."
The attacks occurred hours ahead of Barack Obama's planned address tonight in Washington to explain US involvement to a confused and sceptical public.
