Een repeat van Bones haalde afgelopen aflevering een 2.5 rating, zelfde kijkcijfers die nieuwe afleveringen van Bones hadden voor de move naar een andere tijd die dit seizoen heeft plaatsgevonden. Best netjes ^^ Ik wacht nog wel op officieel nieuws dat het renewed gaat worden...volgens mij zitten ze met de contracten.
Grey's zette ook weer een stijging uit met een 3.7 gelukkig ; en hopelijk volgende week weer iets hoger.
Wacht verder nog nog op officieel nieuws voor Desperate Housewives...ook een contract kwestie..
En ik duim nog steeds voor The Good Wife en Brothers & Sisters ( al vind ik het voor laatstgenoemde best als ze stoppen, zolang het maar een goed afgesloten einde is ).

Geen verrassing dat No Ordinary Family ermee kapt. Gisteren de een na laatste aflevering gezien en man man man, wat een ellende was dat.
Corrupte agent pakt zijn pistool tussen tientallen agenten, zet er rustig een silencer op en niemand die wat in de gaten heeft. Even daarvoor houdt een van de hoofdrolspelers een andere corrupte agent tegen door hem KO te slaan. Roept er verder niemand bij hoor, nee. Loopt gewoon weer verder zonder er wat van te melden.
Dat Lights out stopt vind ik dan wel weer jammer. Leuke serie. Lijkt me alleen lastig om daar een langlopende serie van te maken.

Goed nieuws, seizoen 2 is echt top namelijk.

Ik zit nog te wachten op een officieel nieuwtje van Bones en Desperate Housewives. Volgens mij moeten er bij beide shows contract kwesties besproken worden en er is nog steeds niks bekend wat ik niet zo fijn vind

HBO has cancelled the half hour drama In Treatment after three seasons.
Not being ad supported, HBO doesn’t have to bother with demo ratings for ad sales purposes, but presumably a show’s viewership is somewhat correlated with its subscriber attraction/retention potential which is important and In Treatment’s viewership was tiny. It’s season three finale averaged just 253,000 viewers in its original airing.
Update: HBO says the show will definitely not return in its current format (multiple patients spanning multiple episodes per week). But HBO is still in negotiations to possibly bring the show back in a different format, presumably focusing on Gabriel Byrne’s character, Dr. Paul Weston.

Was een originele drama serie waar goed in geacteerd werd, maar de kijkcijfers en ratings vielen tegen en er waren zelfs afleveringen met een 0.0/0.1 rating en dat is gewoon echt te laag. Blijft jammer

Inderdaad mooie serie. Heb seizoen drie nog altijd niet afgekeken maar het was een erg innemende show met Byrne die continu liet zien een van de best acteurs op het moment te zijn. Maar goed een vervolg in ander format met Byrne erin is nog altijd prima.quote:

Scheelt dat het einde van seizoen 3 opzich wel te doen was...had beter gekund, maar op zich is er rekening gehouden met het einde en dat vind ik wel fijn!

New York April 1, 2011 President of ABCs Entertainment Group, Paul Lee officially announced the cancellation of two drama series, which include the for years succesfull 'Desperate Housewives', and the rating-decliner ' Brothers & Sisters '.
The previous months there has been many hints towards the cancellation of 'Desperate Housewives' since the contracts of the 4 leading ladies were all expired. Sadly enought the financial side couldn't be worked out succesfully with a cancellation as result.
As a result of the cancellations ABC now has the chance to reinvest into the Sunday-evening line up as both shows aired on Sunday nights.
Showrunner Marc Cherry ( Desperate Housewives ) announced the cancellation came expected so he was able to wrap up the story-lines that are currently walking. Brothers & Sisters however didn't receive the news on time with a cliffhanger as result.

Ik ben een weekje ziek geweest en ik hoop nu dat naast The Good Wife ook Nikita en Parenthood worden verlengd. En ik had me nog zo voorgenomen om geen nieuwe drama's/vrouwenseries te gaan kijken...
Ik zie trouwens niets over Gossip Girl in de OP staan. Zal wel verlengd worden, ook al is het echt een ontzettend crappy serie (geworden).
