Dat heb ik ook nog niet eerder gehoord, over gelezen en gezien? Kan het mij niet echt voorstellen van Gordeau, als ik eerlijk ben.

Zou ook kunnen die swastika z'n betekenis vindt in de oosterse cultuur. Maar dat zou nog de hitlergroet/romeinse groet niet verklaren.

Sure it's not the best quality, actually it's probably the worst quality of a fight video I've ever seen on YouTube. However, since it's the only known video of Sergei Kharitonov competing at some unknown event that was most likely held somewhere in Eastern Europe, it'll have to do. Not even BoxingRec has this fight recorded, but it apparently went down within the past few days. His opponent was a guy who fights out of China named Awusone Yeken -- and that's essentially everything we know about this bout. Well, that and Sergei Kharitonov is ruthless with 12 ounce gloves on. Check out this video of Kharitonov competing in a boxing match in between the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix, just because he can.

Rules are rules. Even when you are Cro Cop-a legendary fighter in the sport of MMA, with a high kick that can send your opponent's skull flying off into the stands like one of those rolled up t-shirts they shoot into the crowd during NBA games-sometimes even then people will not bend the rules. Some people are sticklers about rules. Like the TSA screener at the Atlanta airport who made me choose between parting with some lovely purple nail polish and my favorite Blue Razzberry flavored lube because my quart sized plastic baggy was so too full to close. She was such a stickler for the rules that she couldn't see the immense importance both of these items held in my heart.

Maybe the UFC 128 octagon official that many are saying bears a strong resemblance to Keith Jardine, works for TSA on the side. He just couldn't see the immense importance Cro Cop felt in his heart about the Japanese flag. In light of recent tragic events in Japan, we would think that maybe there could have been some bending of the rules to show a respect and support to the Japanese people. At least Dana and Chuck did get on screen and ask for Red Cross donations to support the earthquake victims in Japan and there is this video proof that Cro Cop attempted to show his support as well.

I'm watching the video and I just can't believe how blatant those shots were.

These weren't some missed strikes where Mirko ducked, they were aimed with full intent of landing at the target.

And then he has the audacity to say Herb Dean is quick to deduct a point because he only did like once before the deduction.

Will post some gifs later on.

Look at Schaub's eyes...making sure it landed to the back of the head...

Ik vond shogun wel een beetje afwachtend/voorzichtig. Om Jones te verslaan moet iemand wel tegen gas durven te geven. Ben benieuwd of er iemand is die jones onder druk kan zetten.

Het is ook gedaan met Mirco, ik dacht dat het wel uit zou draaien op Decision. Helaas

Misschien moeten ik maar beseffen dat het gedaan is met de pridehelden.

ik heb 9/12, met de main card allemaal goed. Ik vind het maar gezeik over Brendan Schaub, ik bedoel hij heeft zijn point deduction gehad?

4/5 van de maincard, undercard niet voorspeld.

@ leon303: in zekere zin is het gedaan met de Pride helden, maar dat is geen schande. De meeste Pride helden zijn namelijk (ruim) in de dertig en vergelijk het maar eens met de UFC 'helden' uit 2005: Arlovski, Sylvia enz. De leeftijd begint gewoon parten te spelen en er staat nu een soort van nieuwe, jongere generatie klaar.
