De rebellen blijven toch wel doorvechten. Als Ghadaffi blijft zitten dan komen ze ook aan hun eind. Het nieuws word nu inderdaad gedomineerd door de aardbeving. Helaas..
Wat gewoon is voor de spin, is chaos voor de vlieg.
Dat zal wel meevallen. De japanse aardbeving zal, terecht trouwens, wel een aantal dagen in het nieuws blijven maar al snel meer op de achtergrond verdwijnen omdat het dan eigenlijk nog alleen om slachtoffers zoeken gaat.

Yesterday, I met with members of the Security Council, who informed me that they are continuing to engage fully on the issues, both to ensure the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1970 as well as to consider next steps.

,,Ik acht het denkbaar dat Nederland kenbaar maakt of heeft gemaakt dat er geen toestemming was gevraagd en dat dat in strijd was met de normale gebruiken'', zei Verhagen.
DEN HAAG - Het kabinet erkent dat Nederland Libië toestemming had moeten vragen voor de evacuatievlucht met een marinehelikopter bij het Libische Sirte, nu twaalf dagen geleden.
,,Feitelijk is het zo dat toestemming gevraagd had moeten worden'', zei vicepremier Maxime Verhagen na de wekelijkse ministerraad. ,,Op het moment dat dat erkend wordt, kunt u dat opvatten als een excuus.''

De anti's zullen wel door gaan, er is geen weg terug meer voor de meeste.
Hoewel enerzijds Gadaffi momenteel terrein terug wint door het inzetten van zware lucht,zee en land aanvallen, verliest hij anderzijds enorm veel steun/aanhang, zowel qua overlopers als op politiek gebied.
Het gaat helaas lang niet zo simpel als met Egypte en Tunesie, maar ik heb persoonlijk nog wel goede hoop dat men er in gaat slagen Gadaffi weg te krijgen.
Op welke manier is uiteraard nog de vraag, Berlusconi zei vandaag dat Gadaffi ivm de evt vervolging aan zijn adres, zich nu nooit meer 'over zou geven'. Al kwam dat op mij wat over alsof het nu de schuld v.d VN/EU zou zijn dat G niet van plan is weg te gaan uit Libië/zijn positie. Zoiets als Saif die de anti's de schuld gaf dat het inbrengen van democratie en vrijheid in Libië nu vertraging opliep.

Gaddafi is niet te verslaan zonder hulp van de buiten wereld. En ook als b.v. Amerika zich ermee bemoeid, kan het een bloedige strijd worden. Ik denk dat Iran dan ook op de een of andere manier zal reageren na zijn bedreigingen, want de regering daar is ook niet 100%. We zullen wel zien.
