De bemanning bekijkt een tegeltje dat los is geraakt bij een deur op de shuttle. Ze weten nog niet zeker of ze daar iets aan willen gaan doen, maar hebben nog genoeg tijd om de situatie rond het tegeltje rustig te bekijken. In deze ingebouwde 45 minuten wordt alle informatie nog een keer nagelopen en mogelijke wijzigingen worden in het schema opgenomen.

Tile Issue Resolved

Here's the latest on the tile issue. When the Closeout Crew peeled a piece of tape off of a tile around the hatch, a quarter-size piece of the black topcoat came off. The Closeout Crew keeps a small tile repair kit with them, so they painted the spot with a slurry mixture. The mixture only requires 30 minutes to cure, so this is not a launch concern, and the Closeout Crew has left the White Room.

Here's the latest on the tile issue. When the Closeout Crew peeled a piece of tape off of a tile around the hatch, a quarter-size piece of the black topcoat came off. The Closeout Crew keeps a small tile repair kit with them, so they painted the spot with a slurry mixture. The mixture only requires 30 minutes to cure, so this is not a launch concern, and the Closeout Crew has left the White Room.
