Ik begreep dat toen bekend werd dat Jedward naar het Eurovisie zou gaan, half Ierland ze uitkotste. Het was een aanfluiting en wat al niet meer. En nu ze niet afgegaan zijn op het Eurovisie - zoals velen (ik ook, eerst) dachten - schiet het echt totaal de andere kant op, symbool voor doorzettingsvermogen en al. Niets te nadele van die jongens verder, want die hebben alle aandacht gewoon uiteindelijk echt verdiend, ze dwingen het zelfs af, ze zijn rete gehaaid
Blijft inderdaad een feit dat ik ze echt bewonder, uitgelachen en door bijna iedereen uitgekotst en nu dit!
Met wel een geweldig PR-team achter zich, kan niet anders!

En weet je wat ik stiekem denk? Dat die jongens zélf de grootste motor zijn. Uiteraard zullen ze hulp hebben van een PR team, maar ik denk dat veel, zo niet alles, uit hun eigen bekuifde breintjes komt.

The Irish twins made Ireland proud when they represented Ireland at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf earlier this year, placing 8th. RTE announced yesterday the twins will be given their own 10 part series OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory . The show, to be broadcast later this year, will be an Irish version of Jim will fix it.
RTE, the Irish national broadcaster has announced that the 2011 Eurovision representatives Jedward will be having their very own show OMG Jedward's Dream Factory. The 10-part series will feature in RTÉ's new season schedule for young people, as the brothers aim to fulfil the dreams of eight- to 16-year-olds.
If you are between 8 and 16 years old and live eiter in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland and wish to take part, you can do so. Whatever your dream is John and Edward can make it come true for you on "OMG – Jedward’s Dream Factory." Do you dream of training with your favourite football team or imagine appearing in a TV soap? Have you ever wished you could go shopping with that pop star whose style you really admire? Maybe there's someone's job you'd like to do for the day? Let the Grimes boys know what it is you want to do and they just might make it happen for you. On "OMG – Jedward's Dream Factory" anything is possible!
Who Can Apply: Application is open to anyone between the age of 8 - 16. Open to applications from residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Jedward have told Celebrity Big Brother bosses that they will need to share a bed if they are to join this year's contest.
The Irish twins have apparently insisted that "they do everything together" or they will not sign up to the reality TV show.
The brothers told a tabloid newspaper that they "hate" being separated and will not perform any tasks that involve them being apart.
A show insider told the Daily Star: "They have a twin thing going on and they can't stand being away from each other.
"Fans are going to see just how connected they are."
The source added: "Everyone thinks of them as one entity.
"They literally do everything together. Fans are going to see just how connected they are."
The 19-year-olds have reportedly been offered £1million to join the iconic show on Channel 5.
