Het zou mij niet verbazen als de 3G uitvoering van de Vita na verloop van tijd uit de schappen verdwijnt. Zolang je er niet 'echt' online mee kunt spelen, biedt het in mijn ogen weinig meerwaarde die de hogere prijs rechtvaardigt.

Dacht dat het zo'n 100-500ms was bij 3G.

Ik vermoed dat dat inderdaad de reden is dat er geen 'volledige' online gaming mogelijk zal zijn. Nou moet ik bekennen dat ik me niet precies meer kan herinneren wat er dan wel mogelijk is, maar ik weet nog wel dat ik het niet bepaald indrukwekkend vond. Tenzij hier verbetering in komt, verwacht ik dan ook dat de meesten de 3G-versie links zullen laten liggen en deze op termijn niet meer verkocht zal worden (net als de PSPgo). Niet alleen is hij flink duurder dan de WiFi-versie, maar je hebt er ook een extra abonnement voor nodig. Als de Vita een alternatief voor een tablet zou zijn zou het nog te overwegen zijn, maar Roy is waarschijnlijk de enige persoon op Aarde die het als een tabletvervanger ziet.

Ik heb de presentatie van gisteren echter niet in zijn geheel bekeken; werd daar nog een en ander uitgelegd over de 3G-mogelijkheden?

Ik vind het wel weer een heel vet ding, maar als er weer te weinig spellen voor komen zal het hetzelfde lot als mijn PSP krijgen vrees ik...

Als het goed is zijn er ong. 80 titels in ontwikkeling, daar zal vast nog wel wat van sneuvelen, en veel spellen zullen het ook niet waard zijn ben ik bang .. Maar voor mij persoonlijk is het toch wel de ultieme gadget voor dit najaar
