Als je 2 tellen moeite had gedaan om daadwerkelijk te zoeken er een ander topic was over "Enfant Terrible" dan had je daar je bericht in kwijt gekund.quote:

Balotelli zelf vindt dat overdreven en ontvlucht het hospitaal.
Oktober 2009 :
tegen Palermo versiert Balotelli een strafschop. Samuel Eto'o is aangewezen als nemer, maar Balotelli blijft met de bal op de strafschopstip staan om aan te geven dat hij de klus gaat klaren. Ploeggenoten slepen Balotelli weg, waarna Eto'o scoort. Daarna vraagt Balotelli om een wissel, omdat hij zich 'een beetje misselijk' voelt.
December 2009 :
Supporters van Juventus gebruiken racistische spreekkoren om Balotelli uit zijn spel te halen. De aanvaller ergert zich zichtbaar en reageert zich op het veld via overtredingen af.
Februari 2010
Bondscoach Marcello Lippi laat weten dat hij Balotelli niet zal selecteren voor het WK in Zuid-Afrika. Hij vindt dat de aanvaller een mentaliteitsprobleem heeft. Balotelli verklaart dat hij onder deze bondscoach niet eens voor Italië wil spelen.
Maart 2010 :
Tijdens een televisie-uitzending wordt Balotelli gevraagd het shirt van AC Milan aan te trekken. De Inter-fans zijn woedend, mede doordat Balotelli aangeeft dat hij als kind supporter van Milan was.
April 2010 :
Mourinho laat Balotelli om disciplinaire redenen enkele wedstrijden buiten de selectie.
Eerst weigert de spits excuses te maken voor zijn gedrag, later doet hij dat alsnog.
20 April 2010 :
De dag dat een breuk tussen Inter en Balotelli onafwendbaar wordt. Hij werkt ongeïnteresseerd een invalbeurt af tijdens het Champions League-duel met Barcelona en reageert op fluitconcerten van de supporters met een cynisch applaus. Na de wedstrijd smijt hij zijn shirt op de grond en toont zijn middelvingers aan de fans. In de catacomben ontstaat een vechtpartij tussen Balotelli en Marco Materazzi.
Mei 2010 :
Balotelli geeft in een interview aan dat alle ophef van de laatste weken wat hem betreft overdreven is. ; Ik ben zelfverzekerd en klaar om de beste speler van de wereld te worden.' klinkt het.
Juni 2010 :
Bondscoach Milovan Rajevac reist voor de vierde keer naar Italië om Balotelli te overtuigen om voor Ghana te kiezen. Voor de vierde keer laat Balotelli hem voor niets wachten.
Augustus 2010 :
Manchester City verlost Balotelli en Inter van elkaar. Een nieuwe start in Engeland moet de loopbaan van het supertalent, inmiddels international, een impuls geven.
September 2010 :
Balotelli is betrokken bij een auto-ongeluk. Met zijn Audi raakt hij de BMW van een andere weggebruiker. Alleen de auto's lopen schade op.
Oktober 2010 :
De van een blessure herstellende Balotelli rijdt met zijn Mercedes in Brescia een vrouwengevangenis binnen. uit nieuwsgierigheid, zoals hij zelf laat weten.
November 2010 :
De aanvaller maakt zijn eerste twee competitiedoelpunten voor Manchester City op 7 November tegen West Bromwich Albion. In die wedstrijd ziet hij ook de rode kaart na een clash met Youssouf Mulumbu.
December 2010 :
Tijdens de training van City krijgt Balotelli het aan de stok met Jerome Boateng. beide ploeggenoten delen enkele rake klappen uit. Aanleiding is een wilde tackle van de Italiaan op Boateng.
En dan te bedenken dat hij pas 20 is.

"As a man he's 10km ahead of Mourinho."
And Mourinho wasn't Balotelli's only target. He also took a swipe at Barcelona's Lionel Messi who last week won the FIFA Ballon d'Or.
The Italian said: "I don't believe Messi deserved the Ballon d'Or, as it should've gone to Wesley Sneijder."
Arrogant Balotelli also hit out at AC Milan owner and Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
In a recent interview, Berlusconi revealed he thought Antonio Cassano was the best player in Italy.
But Balotelli said: "Either Berlusconi's made a mistake or he doesn't know Balotelli very well."

Balotelli clearly has a high opinion of himself - and a considerably lower one of Rooney. He said: "He's good but he is not the best in Manchester."
Indeed, Balotelli even says that United fans would love to see him at Old Trafford.
He said: "They stop me in the street and tell me, 'Mario, come to United'. Honestly.
"But I'm dreaming of beating United, because I know how much this means to our fans, they are splendid with me. I had such goosebumps when they sang my name after my hat-trick in the 4-0 win against Aston Villa."
SunSport revealed last month that Balotelli was so homesick he was looking for a way out. He confirmed: "Sometimes I just had no wish of doing anything at all. I'd shut myself inside my flat. Even Mancini's sons were trying to get me to come out."
Even from his flat, though, he can make plenty of noise. He said: "I live right in the centre of Manchester, in a modern building, with a splendid view.
"One day my brother Giovanni was in the street, looked up and said to his girlfriend, 'How nice, they're doing fireworks in Manchester'. It was me, shooting them off from the ninth floor."

Balotelli has had a troubled time with injuries since signing a five-year contract when he joined City for £24million.
He has also had a training-ground bust-up with left-back Jerome Boateng.
But he claims the prospect of playing in the best strikeforce in the world will keep him at the club for another season.
He said: "It's still early. For this year and one more I'll stay at City. Think about this one: Balotelli-Carlos Tevez-Edin Dzeko. Is it not good enough?
"Can you see anything better than this now in the world? Me neither, not even at Barcelona or Real."
While Balotelli did not get on with Mourinho, he claims it was the Special One's successor Rafael Benitez who forced him out of the San Siro.
He said: "Benitez just told me, 'You come after Milito, Eto'o and Pandev, fourth-choice striker'. I said, 'That's it, ciao'."
Balotelli is trying hard to learn English and says that Mancini cannot criticise him for his efforts on that front.
Balotelli said: "He must say nothing. His English stinks. But is improving.
"Mancini is lucky. In Sheikh Mansour he has an owner who speaks little, and only asks, 'What do you need?' "
Balotelli comes over as sullen but admits certain City stars do make him laugh. He revealed: "If I wear strange shoes, Yaya Toure and Manu Adebayor stick them on to the ceiling of the dressing room with Sellotape."
His Italian friends also like to organise pranks. He said: "The other day they placed a live lobster in my car. God, did I jump!"
Balotelli also has some home truths for those who think the Premier League features the best football in the world.
He added: "The Italians are tactically stronger. In England it is easier to score."
Some people claim there are not enough characters in the game. It would appear Balotelli is doing everything to buck that trend.

Dit is toch wel wat vermakelijker dan spelers die louter open deuren 'ik ben niet belangrijk, het team is belangrijk' kunnen intrappen. Maar, wát een ego heeft die gozer.
