Zit nu ongeveer op 400 albums. Allemaal top albums. Hij valt natuurlijk in te korten naar 100. Maar het voelt zo verkeerd aan om een album dat me dierbaar is weg moeten halen uit plaatsgebrek

Was er al eens een link gelegd tussen Froger's "Een zingende merel, de geur van de zee" en MEROL's "Hou je bek en bef me", of moet het weer eens van deze eeuwige puber komen?
Och, sowieso zijn er zat EP's van een uur en 'echte' albums van 25 minuten. Sowieso een nogal arbitrair label in veel gevallen. Vaak is het toch meer een gevoelskwestie of iets als 'volwaardig' moet meetellen of niet.quote:Op dinsdag 5 oktober 2010 16:32 schreef horned_reaper het volgende:

Ik heb ook wel een aantal ep's in mijn lijst staan (of in elk geval op de shortlist), sommige bands zijn op ep lengte precies goedquote:
en op albumlengte valt het tegen Bv The Raveonettes, hun debuut ep is het beste wat ze gemaakt hebben vind ik.

De vraag die ik elk jaar opnieuw stel:
Wat doen jullie met live albums?? Ik vind het altijd zo dubieus om ze erin te zetten, omdat ik een album toch zie als een verzameling nummers die bij elkaar moeten passen. Live albums zijn toch meestal een soort bestof...Maar een paar albums zijn gewoon zo goed, die moeten er eigenlijk in...bijvoorbeeld Alchemy Live van Dire Straits, of Kicking Television van Wilco...en zo kan ik nog wel even door gaan...
Ik denk dat ik ze dit jaar ze maar uit mijn top 100 haal...

Heel veel albums uit de norties weer, maar daar heb ik ook de meeste albums van.
Beetje van hetzelfde laken een pak allemaal ,maar vooral jouw top-Wilco notering 
Ghost is Born is gewoon de best..Niet Yankee, niet Summerteeth..Maar Ghost is Born En Neutral Milk Hotel..bah, ik vind het maar kut
Maar hier op fok is het zo populair..heb al wel 100 luisterbeurten gegeven maar het wil maar niet..En wat betreft Yo La Tengo, vooral je #100 vind ik fijn ! Gelukkig heeft die het nog gehaald

Sommige bands heb ik geen idee van welk album ik er in moet zetten, dan kies ik soms voor een live album. Sommige bands hebben ook een live album dat gewoon beter is dan welk studio album ook. Dan zet ik die er in. Live albums kunnen prima. Zag ook al een paar keer Live after Death van Maiden voorbij komen. Bootlegs daarentegen zijn denk ik niet officieel genoeg.
Dat is op zich wel waar, als je een live album erin propt mag je eigenlijk geen normale studio albums doen..Dat is wat ik elk jaar met Dire Straits heb denk ik...Vind Dire Straits relaxed en al maar niet echt superfantastisch ofzo, maar Alchemy Live...quote:
