Dat speelt allemaal op donderdag. De andere dagen zijn een stuk leger.

Die donderdag gaat wel zeer pijnlijke clashes opleveren (Midi alleen al is iets waar ik eigenlijk niets van wil missen). De andere dagen zal dat vast niet beter worden.

Heeft iemand Black Masses van Electric Wizard al gehoord? De roadburn twitter doet vermoeden dat er al een kopie beschikbaar is binnen bepaalde kringen. Hoop dat ik hem voor de 31e kan horen want ze gaan er geloof ik veel materiaal van spelen live.

Zodadelijk richting Birmingham voor Supersonic. Erg veel zin in, voornamelijk voor Godflesh, Swans en Hallogallo maar niets is leuker dan je laten verrassen door een band waar je nog nooit van gehoord hebt..

Its ability to create an all-encompassing yet devastatingly claustrophobic vision from minimalist means, it treated guitar textures that would later be siphoned off into Justin and Benny’s respective drone projects, Final and Vitriol, and its willingness to meet the abyss head-on are all elements whose fumes have pervaded Roadburn over many years.

It is a massive understatement to say that we’re beyond thrilled about having Godflesh headlining the Thursday Roadburn date with such a highly anticipated performance. We are still pinching ourselves that the fever dream of having such a coup for Roadburn has become a reality – it’s an absolute honour for us, and a testament to a band whose impact influence has spread so far, wide and deep.
