Apple presenteerde dit gisteravond als exclusieve functie voor de iPhone 4, maar zei daarbij dat het voorlopig alleen via een Wi-Fi-netwerk mogelijk zal zijn. Volgens Apple-topman Steve Jobs moet Apple eerst in gesprek met de verschillende telecomproviders voordat de functionaliteit ook via een 3G-netwerk geactiveerd zal worden.

Gyro + Accelerometer

De nieuwe accu moet zorgen voor 40 procent meer gesprekstijd dan bij de huidige iPhone, in totaal 7 uur. Daarnaast moet het mogelijk zijn om 6 uur lang te browsen via een 3G-verbinding en 10 uur via een Wi-Fi-verbinding. Tevens is het mogelijk om 10 uur video te bekijken en 40 uur muziek te luisteren. De standbytijd bedraagt 300 uur.

Ik heb mijn iPhone 3G destijds bij de T-Mobile shop verzekerd via Pro-Assist. Ik had er vooraf al wat over gelezen op iPhoneclub.nl. Ze waren daar erg positief en er werd verteld dat ze de kapotte iPhone bij je thuis ophaalden en je direct een vervangende toestel meegaven. Ik denk niet dat ik de nieuwe iPhone zal verzekeren. Ik ben gewoon heel zuinig met mijn spullen en deze iPhone 4 is ook nog veel sterker, dus minder kans op beschadiging. De behuizing is van roestvrij staal en de "glazen" aan de voor en achterkant van het toestel schijnen veel sterker te zijn dan normaal glas, dus ja...
