Jullie kunnen wel allemaal kritiek overnemen van Amerikanen maar kijk eens met een Nederlands oog naar Obama. Een Amerikaan staat al op zijn achterpoten van communisme te schreeuwen als er een snelheidscamera langs de weg staat, omdat hij niet op een foto van de overheid wil staan. Day 1 of the Manning trial of Barack Obama in Harlem, New York is now history. Observers from all over the world and from various states were in attendance, including persons from Germany, Canada, Hawaii, California, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida.
Today's activities were primarily preliminary--the march around Columbia University, the questioning and selection of the jury, and opening remarks by Dr. Manning.
The trial begins in earnest tomorrow.
A synopsis of Day 1 can be found at The Conservative Monster, where you will also find photos from the event. Here is an excerpt from the report:
The indictment was handed down via a grand jury and the subpoenas were refused by Columbia University and the Obama administration according to the testimony.
Indictment alleges:
1. Columbia Univ. and Obama conspired to defraud and commit wire fraud and mail fraud
2. Columbia Univ. knowingly concealed the fact that Obama is NOT a natural born citizen
3. Columbia Univ. aided in obstructing justice
4. Obama fraudulently obtained office of the POTUS gaining access to sensitive materials, posing a danger to national security.
5. The prosecution dropped the charges of treason and espionage to avoid complications with a death sentence.
Dr. Manning stated that the charges of treason and espionage were dropped due to the fact that if the jury found Obama guilty, they may recommend the death penalty. Manning said he does not believe in capital punishment and therefore recommended to the prosecution that those charges be dropped.
Controversy ensued outside the building when a few Harlem residents protested the fact that 'birthers' were in their community. They accused the gathering of being 'racist' although it was being held in a Black church and planned, organized, and implemented by a Black Harlem pastor.

Maar er is geen Judge en geen Jury volgen de geldende rechtsregels van zowel NYC, NY state en de Federale overheid.

Today the trial got down to business following the preliminary events yesterday.
The jury was sworn in and testimony was taken. Right off the bat a witness testified to the strange circumstances surrounding Obama's selective service card. Major discrepancies regarding dates are noted, according to private investigators who uncovered the information that Obama gave false information concerning his selective service card:
"Linda Bentley, the 1st witness is sworn in. Bentley is an investigative reporter from Arizona and she was a very impressing and convincing witness with her testimony on Obama's selective service card. Bentely, also a former private investigator went into great detail how Steve Hoffman (an immigration agent) obtained Obama's selective service records. Hoffman filed a request for Obama's selective service records after he saw an interview with George Stephanopolous back in September 2008.
Obama stated during the interview that "he filed for selective service after he graduated from high school". Bentley then noted that Obama graduated in 1979 and at that time there was no requirement to file a selective service card since President Ford ended that requirement back in 1975.
Bentley then stated that Hoffman noted that the filing date on Obama's selective service card was just 6 weeks prior to when he obtained the requested information. The date filing date on the card was just two days after the Stephanopolous interview. There were many dates mentioned, but this is what your reporter is stating that he heard.
There was also an issue with the stamp on the document since there was only a two digit number year (80), rather than a four digit number (1980). Bentley questioned whether the number was made two digits to give the appearance that it was filed in 80, rather than 08 (1980 rather than 2008).
Further discrepancies were noted regarding Obama's Social Security Number, which was issued in the state of Connecticut to a man, now deceased, who was born in the year 1890 in Connecticut. Obama never lived in Connecticut. Thus, why would he have a Connecticut-issued Social Security Number from there rather than Hawaii, where he supposedly was born?
Another stunning piece of testimony was provided concerning Obama's 'certification of live birth' from Hawaii:
Obama's certificate of live birth was printed by a laser printer, but then stated that there were no laser printers back in 1961.
The serial number was blacked out on the document as to hide the date that it was actually filed.
Manning also stated that the COLB was altered and it states on the document that "any altering will make this document
invalid."
