Je hebt van die nummers die zo lang naar een climax toewerken dat tegen de tijd dat je bij de climax aankomt je van gekkigheid al niet meer weet wat je moet doen. Neem nou dit nummer. Je voelt vanaf de eerste noot al waar het heen gaat, maar het duurt nog wel dik 4 minuten voor je er bent.

Dit nummer moet ook gewoon in de lijst. Het eerste rapnummer allertijden (al wordt dat weleens betwist) maar toch zeker het nummer waar hiphop héél veel aan te danken heeft (bijvoorbeeld de naam, de eerste lyrics: I said a hip hop/the hippie the hippie/To the hip hip hop/You don't stop). De hele samplingcultuur die met hiphop gepaard gaat is ook hier begonnen: de sample komt uit Good Times van Chic (#128). Legendarisch en onmisbaar in deze lijst.
