Voormalig toezichthouder op de spaarbanken William K. Black, een deskundige, integere en krachtdadige vent die in de jaren '90 verschillende crises bezoren heeft, legde gisteren een verklaring af voor de Financial Services Committee van het Huis van Afgevaardigden.

Hij beschrijft de frauduleuze basis van de huidige financiėle crisis en de incompetentie en medeplichtigheid van de falende toezichthouders.

Stefan Ingves - Stefan Ingves is Chairman of the Executive Board and Governor of the Riksbank. He is a member of the ECB General Council and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). He is also Sweden's governor in the International Monetary Fund.

Mr. Ingves has previously been Director of the Monetary and Financial Systems Department at the International Monetary Fund, Deputy Governor of the Riksbank and General Director of the Swedish Bank Support Authority. Prior to that, he was Under-Secretary and Head of the Financial Markets Department at the Ministry of Finance. Ingves holds a PhD in economics.

MELTUP - National Inflation Association

Een één uur durende samenvatting van het verloop van de crisis tot nu toe en de te verwachten hyperinflatoire afloop. Met alle usual suspects zoals Schiff, Faber en Celente.

Ik begrijp de conclusie van de docu niet. Ze geven aan dat een bepaald deel van de amerikanen (ze gebruiken 20%) eigen producten moet consumeren. Dergelijke protectionisme helpt in mijn ogen helemaal niet. Ze moeten exporteren. Laat ze bijvoorbeeld gigantische hoeveelheden mais produceren, zodat er bio-diesel gemaakt kan worden (pak je gelijk de olie-crisis mee en zit je alleen nog met een oplossing voor het water wat er voor nodig is).

Ik vind Chapter 9, 10 en 11 van die lezing eigenlijk heel erg goed. Hij klinkt zelfs vrij gematigd, maar legt duidelijk uit wat zijn visie is.
