, maar er is in juni zoveel gelogen en of niet gezegd dat je hier niet veel waarde aan moet hechten . duidelijkheid hier zou moeten komen van het onderzoek naar telefoon en sms verkeer van 31 mei tot 9 juni. het raport is bij politie bekend, zo ook of kalpoe liegt of gewoon niet wilde zeggen toen in de nor.kortom wij weten het niet aar de politie weet wel uit onderzoek of kalpoe hier zat te dwalen. het kan ook nog zo zijn dat het sms nooit is aangekomen, gebeurt wel eens dus wel verzonden toch niet ontvangen

It was on the night of the 30th of May2005 that he was asleep in his room at his house, when he was awoken by the sound of numerous dogs barking out of control and in very menacing tones.
The witness opened his eyes, looked at the watch and saw that it was 4:05 in the morning.
Listening to the direction from which the sounds of the dogs were coming, he went to the living room of his house and observed what the dogs were barking at with such urgency.
Under a street lamp he saw a person walking in the direction of his house. He was coming from the sports field of Nacional, near the Dam of Monserat, going in the direction of the hotels. The person on foot passed under the following street lamp and the witness saw the person very well and clearly. He was a notably tall, thin, masculine, white skin, short dark hair, a relatively young man who looked like a Dutchman.
He also saw the form (profile) of his head and one side of his face.
The clothes he had on was a red tee shirt and long clear colored pants .
Remarcable was that this person was walking with a limp, and here is where the witness saw that he lacked one tennis shoe. He calculated that from the way he was walking, he was missing the tennis shoes of his right foot.
Another thing that he noticed was that the person was breathing heavily, as if he had been running for quite a while. His chest was heaving up and down rapidly.
CLOTHES WERE WET
The witness continued to declare (and proved with his test that he was telling the truth) that the man he saw had on wet clothes, and had a notable stripe of muddy waters that reached to his chest, about 5 centimeters more or less over his flannel.
The stripe on his flannel showed clearly that from the muddy waters going down his clothes were completely wet.
At first the witness thought that this person had beenin a fight and ran away so as not to receive any more blows. The side of his face that the witness noticed, however, did not show any signs of blood or blows. But, due to the fact that the person did not once look over his shoulder to check if anyone was following him, and continued to walk with his head down and, with accelerated velocity, the witness thought that he was involved in something else and not in a fight.
The person continued to walk in front of his house until he lost him from sight, and in no instance did the man look up or back, and continued to walk in the direction of the hotels.
All this happened in about 1 minute.
After he lost the person from sight, the witness sat in his living room for about 15 to 20 minutes before he went back to sleep.
DIARIO COMMENT: Here something else happened, that the witness did not reveal to the local authorities, but well to the American investigators. In our next publication DIARIO will reveal what else the witness saw that eventful morning. The Polygraph test he took proved that here too he was telling the truth!)

Van der S. woont al zeventien jaar op het eiland en werd drie jaar geleden plaatsvervangend rechter in opleiding. De rechterlijke macht was echter niet tevreden over zijn functioneren en had intern al de beslissing genomen dat Van der S. zijn functie zou moeten neerleggen. Er werd een ander plekje binnen het justitieapparaat voor hem gezocht en Van der S. deed al geen rechtszaken meer.
De politie op Aruba begint zijn optreden steeds meer verdacht te vinden als uit het onderzoek blijkt dat Paul alle verdachten instructies geeft en ze probeert voor te houden wat ze wel en niet moeten verklaren. Dat leidt ertoe dat Van der S. een verbod krijgt zijn zoon nog langer te bezoeken in de cel, waarna de magistraat een kort geding aanspant om deze stap aan te vechten. Afgelopen donderdag besluit justitie Paul van der S. te arresteren op verdenking van betrokkenheid bij de moord op Natalee. Keihard bewijs ontbreekt vooralsnog, maar de ondoorzichtige houding van Van der S. roept te veel vragen op. Of de aanklacht van moord ook in een later stadium van kracht blijft, moet nog blijken. Justitie kan de verdenking ook hebben aangevoerd om Van der S. in verzekering te kunnen stellen. De tenlastelegging kan dan later alsnog worden aangepast in bijvoorbeeld het wegwerken van bewijsmateriaal.

, en wanneer heeft deze persoon dat gemeld bij de politie ? en waarom een leugen test doen ? klinkt allemaal erg americaans en gezocht hoor. maar goed nieuwe ??? aanwijzing dat joran dus nadat hij thuis kwam om 3:15 even alibi maakte en vervolgens met papa op pad is gegaan, wat ik al meer schreef hier om 3:15 was er grootte paniek in huize van der sloot 
. als dit verhaal de waarheid zou wezen is paul van de sloot hoofdverdachte 
, zoon lief kwam met een probleem naar vaders en vaders heeft wel een oplossing. bang voor zijn status als rechter in opleiding heeft hij na een klein onderzoekje van natalee gemeend dat ze dood was en gedacht weg ermee in ondiepe zee ik stel voor paul van der sloot maar eens op te pakken en hem te verhoren op deze zaak als verdachte van het doen verdwijnen van een lijk of tenminste medeplichtig te stellen. gelukkig kan paul van der sloot hier twee jaar zonder echt bewijs voor worden lastig gevallen

Volgens justitie had hij als getuige verklaringen afgelegd die niet strookten met feitenonderzoek. "Maar ze hebben me na mijn arrestatie maar één keer verhoord", vertelt Van der Sloot. "Toen heb ik hetzelfde gezegd als eerder op het politiebureau."
De media namen aan dat Van der Sloot was aangehouden omdat hij zijn zoon zou hebben aangespoord vooral niet de waarheid te vertellen over de nacht dat Natalee Holloway verdween. "Ik heb hem juist gezegd om alles te vertellen", zegt Van der Sloot.
Jorans vader wist in eerste instantie niet eens dat zijn zoon uit was geweest in de nacht van 29 op 30 mei, toen Natalee verdween. Hij heeft respect voor meisjes."
Waarom hij dan een meisje alleen op het strand heeft achtergelaten, weten de ouders niet. "Ik zou heel graag met hem over de zaak willen praten, maar dat mogen wij niet", zegt Anita. "Maar een ding weet ik wel zeker: dat daar volwassenen bij zijn geweest."
Het ziet er niet naar uit dat Joran binnenkort vrijkomt. De politie heeft zo weinig bewijsmateriaal, dat de enige hoop een bekentenis is. Dagelijks wordt Joran urenlang verhoord. Anita: "Soms zit hij uren in een donkere, ijskoude ruimte, waar hij alleen maar geluiden kan horen. Een andere keer is hij omringd door foto's van Natalee. Je vader is ook een misdadiger, zeggen ze tegen hem. 'Mama, ze schelden me uit voor moordenaar, voor psychopaat, voor verkrachter', vertelde hij me."

Two Contacts with Natalee Holloway One at the Casino after 8 PM and the other around 4AM..Why would Paul Van Der Sloot lie about that and change his story? How many people saw him in that Red Jeep that morning when he said he was sleeping?

The whole case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway gets a different twist now that the information has come out from no less than the Superior Court, and in which mention is made of the declarations of witnesses and a phone tap that show or give an indication that Paul van der Sloot had on two occasions personal contact with Natalee during the night that she disappeared. Mention is made that, according to one or more official reports of the phone tap and also the declaration of Paul van der Sloot himself, that Paul fetched Joran and Natalee at McDonald and took them to the Holiday Inn. Based on this information, the judicial authorities and the police had at that time a justified basis to arrest Paul van der Sloot based on different suspicions. (Translation Credit: Diario)

The possible involvement of Paulus with that could then be deducted from the file with the official reports of witnesses, amongst which two people suggested a contact existed between Paulus and Natalee Holloway the night of her disappearance, and a taped report (that was given by the Prosecutor in her final note 1 to the Court). The taped information and his declaration that he picked up Joran and Natalee by the McDonalds Palm Beach and brought them to the Holiday Inn, are clearly understood by the Dept. of Justice, and could in the judgement of this Superior Court, be considered as an indication of the involvement of Paulus in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.”

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh -- oh, it`s a very critical detail. And the night that we arrived on the island -- you know, Jug does not misinterpret a 4:00 AM time pickup to 11:00 PM. I mean, Paulus Van Der Sloot stated that he picked them up up at 4:00 AM on May the 30th. Then -- we don`t know who they were, but then even as far as June 16 and June 17, Mr. Van Der Sloot was still stating this 4:00 AM pickup. Only until around -- maybe it was when he was picked up or arrested did he change it to 11:00 PM that I had knowledge of.

I'm in Mountain Brook and from the people who have recently returned from Aruba is that Van der Sloot's dad was seen at a McDonald's at 3 a.m. the night Natalee disappeared.
I don't think this has been reported in the mainstream media so hopefully this will help those of of you who are following this closely. This is my first post here and I'm posting something I think all of you might find significant.
Natalee goes missing at about 1 to 1:30 a.m. and the Van der Sloot's dad is seen at a McDonalds at 3a.m. I assume the dad has a job and would have to be at work the next day. There to me it is very suspicious.......

MANSUR: Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with -- and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work.

White Pickup Truck and the Marriott Is this where they took Natalee after something Bad happened? After Montserat?
In early June 2005 there was a witness who came forward and said he helped bury Natalee with two others using a tarp,white Pu and buried her in a shallow grave with two others. One of the helpers worked at the Marriott. This witness was then locked up in a Mental Hospital in Aruba. The Archives still should be at RWV as well as a tourist who witnessed this from her/his window.

GRACE: OK. Jossy, is there any way to tie in a white pick-up to this scenario?
MANSUR: Yes, ma`am, because there`s another witness that, before that, told someone that works at the hotels that he saw a white pick-up over there by the Holiday Inn, in which three persons were also in, all of them male, carrying what looked like the body of a girl, putting it in the back of the white pick-up and driving away with it.
GRACE: OK. So you`ve got a white pick-up at the Holiday Inn, where Natalee was staying. You`ve got a white pick-up at the landfill. Both eyewitnesses state that there were three individuals, I`m assuming male. But can they give an identification of Joran Van Der Sloot or the Kalpoe brothers?
MANSUR: None of them have given that kind of a description. They haven`t identified the three males. But it`s very important to note that the witness on the beach by the Holiday Inn has absolutely no knowledge of the witness over there to the east side of the island by the landfill or dump. They don't know each other, but still they give the same description of the same white pick-up.

The witness by the landfill tells us that he was sitting in his car and he saw a white pick-up truck drive in, their were 3 occupants and 2 of them got out. Picked up a trash can plastic bag, the black ones, the big ones and they carried it over to where this whole bunch of other bags and rubble was. Now when they were doing that, he says that some blond hair fell out of the bag because the bag was not properly sealed and that he could see parts of human body and then he saw them dig a little among the rubble that was there already and then place this bag there then covered with some other near by lying bags and then put a small pool, plastic pool that babies swim in or bathe in on top of it and then put some more stuff and then walked away. He also told us that there was another car outside of the cyclone fence, looking on. The man in that car stepped out, he stood by the fence and looked at the whole proceeding's. We do believe him because from the beginning he has been reliable with his story and it does fit the description we got from another witness between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott Hotel.
The letter that we received is from the wife of the person with whom this guy was on the beach with between the Holiday Inn and Marriott wrote us because she was getting a annoyed that no one was paying attention to the declaration that this man gave to her husband at the hotel.
I will read it for you... The day after Natalee was missing a person called Barbeshe (Bar-Be-she) told a story that the night before he saw 3 people in front of the Holiday Inn with a girl's body. That they tried to take a towel from one the "walks fence's" (really hard to understand him here - sounds like he says "water sports dance or fence") to wrap the body and they could not get it down. Then one of them went to the garbage cans at the Holiday Inn and pulled the bags out and wrapped the body, then put her in the white pick-up and left. They went out and turned left towards the lighthouse and turned off on a dirt road and dug a hole and put her in it and threw out the shovel. He also said he told the police and they sent him on a 4 wheeler to try and find, locate the spot and he had been threatened by these people. This person has been seen on the beach everyday has no longer been seen after this and was known to be there daily.

CANDIOTTI: Well, according to sources familiar with the investigation, at least one witness has come forward who claims to have seen more than one person dumping what the witness says could have been a body. The body was, I am told, covered in some fashion, and that this happened at a public landfill not long before closing time. Now, when this happened, sources close to the investigation would not tell me exactly when this happened. But again, it was close to closing time. In addition to the pond, Trump said authorities are searching a landfill for the third time since a witness came forward shortly after Holloway disappeared. Trump said that authorities did not want to leave any stone unturned.
The witness claimed he saw more than one person dump into the landfill something he believes could have been a covered body, CNN has learned from sources briefed on the investigation. The witness also gave police a license tag number that reportedly belonged to a white pickup truck.

A local young person was the one who tipped regarding the body in the landfill. This person saw that on 2 days after Natalee was reported missing he saw some guys take out a large garbage with a stiff body.
As they took the body out, the wind blew the bag open and in it he
saw that a body was laying stiff on a blue beach bed and the legs were crossed on to the other and he saw long blond hair.
This car was a light coloured truck, he took the number plate and reported this to the authorities. They found out that this car belonged to a POLICE auth. He was driving around with a towel with the blood on it,
but they never cared for his story!!.
He said that yesterday US media went to his house, but he refused to give any reports. He said tomorrow he will give an interv. with Canal 90

The FBI and Aruban police have questioned the witness, an Aruban man who claimed to be dropping off trash at the time, Miller said.

JUNIOR: This happened, well, at the time I saw them bury her it turns out that was the body of Natalee, the girl. At that time I thought it was just a tree--a coconut tree. That is what I thought. She was wrapped in plastic--covered in plastic--but there was a breeze and the bag sort of fell half way off and I saw half the body naked. It was a black plastic bag, and the woman was wearing no clothes. She had no clothes on. She was naked, just half her body I saw. I was by myself at that time at the place where we dump the garbage. How far? I was approximately seventy-five to eighty meters away. This was afternoon--4:30, 5:30--between 4:30 and 5:30. I, I felt there was something wrong, but more people kept coming from nearby. There was another car with a woman. The yellow car had a woman there, too, so, I thought there was nothing? Total, there were three cars; the pickup with the small trailer in the back, then there was a Jeep, and a yellow station wagon.
VAN SUSTEREN: When did he first call anybody about it?
JUNIOR: I called the Police, ?that was? that happened on Monday or Sunday because at that time the picture of the guys they were looking for had not been published in the paper yet. That is right. And then I recognized them immediately when I saw the picture. I felt--one day later I called the Police. I was saying, you know, you just want to call, and call, and call, and call--day and night--I kept calling but I kept getting a tape.
VAN SUSTEREN: What is his level of certainty?
JUNIOR: Am I certain? Yes, I am really sure. That is why I think, today, ?I?m sure, I?m sure. I have no doubt in my mind.? Yes. Also the father, I believe, yes, yes. Also him. I was even more sure it was this girl because now there were two cars. The Police have two cars--the red Jeep, which? I saw that. I saw that because the red Jeep was fine, but that came later, that was the next day. I was near the place where she was buried--may she rest in peace. I was there, maybe, nine days later.
VAN SUSTEREN: If there were three, does the father make four, or, is the father one of the three?
JUNIOR: The father came in the Jeep. He got out of the car. He was standing there and he was pointing and asking things. I was working, you know, but he was far and he was talking. I was just working and looking. He kept asking if everything was okay. Yes, they asked him. I thought that they were asking him, that is what I thought they were doing, asking him, ?Where? Where??
VAN SUSTEREN: Have the Police interviewed him [JUNIOR; my insertion] yet?
JUNIOR: The Police they have come to me and I pointed them to the place and they went for my message but never got it. They did not come back. This was in my mind and kept bothering me. I said this all to a friend of mine who lives nearby. I told her what happened and I said, "No one believes me."

JUNIOR: Half body. I saw half the body and the hair flying in the wind--blowing in the wind. Then I was for sure because had it have been a coconut tree, then we would have seen the roots of it. O'REILLY: In the "Back of the Book" segment tonight, let's go back to Aruba, where investigative reporter Dilma Arends is standing by. Ms. Arends works for "Bon Dia" newspaper on the island.
I wanted to get a local journalist's point of view here, Ms. Arends, on the events thus far. A lot of us here in the United States feel that the Aruban authorities aren't going to convict anybody in this case. How do you see it?
DILMA ARENDS, INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER FOR ARUBAN NEWSPAPER: Well, we see it differently, because we know the system here and we understand it, too.
The authorities, I -- they won't give out what they have. I mean, there's been leaks. For instance, our paper today published some -- some corroboration to what the prosecutor has been saying. And for instance, they're using the cell sites to determine the movements of the three boys.
And by using the cell sites and the batteries of the cell phones of the boys, they were able to determine, for instance, that Joran got home at 4 p.m. -- sorry, 4 a.m. And they also figured out, by using the signals of the battery of the cell phone, that Deepak, indeed, went home but left his house again and was -- was in the area near the Marriott.
So I think they have more -- more proof or more indication than they're telling us.
O'REILLY: Do you believe it strange the Kalpoe brothers are out of jail?
ARENDS: Not really, because when the judge of instruction (ph) reviewed their case, that revision is very, very thorough. It's not surprising that everything was upheld from the previous case.
O'REILLY: Do you believe that it's cruel to the Holloway family for the Aruban government not to really let them in on some facets of the investigation? You know, what you just told us makes a difference to the Holloways -- I'm sure they'll hear it -- because it gives them some hope.
ARENDS: Well, the thing is, again, as has been explained before, if this case goes to court and the judge finds out that some information has been leaked out and the case could be damaged, it could be thrown out based out on technicality. And that's one thing that the prosecution really doesn't want to do.
O'REILLY: Yes, but I mean, I looked at your criminal statutes. And if there's a private attorney who gets access to information and delivers that information, there is no threat of that happening at all. You know that.
ARENDS: Yes, but we also know how reporters are. And we tend to pry. And the Holloways and Twitties have been on all these American shows, and they've been asked and asked, and something can slip and can damage the case.
O'REILLY: All right. I don't quite see it the way that you do. I think that there can be a way to get information to the family that's not going to damage the case or cause anything to be thrown out on a technicality. I believe that it's more convenient for the Aruban government and the authorities there to keep everything locked down.
I'll give you the last word.
ARENDS: Well, convenient, yes, it is convenient to their case, because they have a huge responsibility. It's not only, I mean, of course the emotional part is very heavy, and it is on -- for the part of the family. I mean, it's been six weeks and I mean, everybody acknowledges that.
However, the responsibility is on the shoulders of the investigative team and the prosecution. And they also have to respond to the community for Aruba who has been bearing this all. I mean, we've been suffering, too. Perhaps not to the extent of the emotional part of the family, but we certainly have been in the eye of the storm.
O'REILLY: All right. Ms. Arends, thanks very much. We appreciate your point of view. Thanks for coming on "The Factor."

MANSUR: Yes, ma`am, because there`s another witness that, before that, told someone that works at the hotels that he saw a white pick-up over there by the Holiday Inn, in which three persons were also in, all of them male, carrying what looked like the body of a girl, putting it in the back of the white pick-up and driving away with it.
GRACE: OK. So you`ve got a white pick-up at the Holiday Inn, where Natalee was staying. You`ve got a white pick-up at the landfill. Both eyewitnesses state that there were three individuals, I`m assuming male. But can they give an identification of Joran Van Der Sloot or the Kalpoe brothers?
MANSUR: None of them have given that kind of a description. They haven`t identified the three males. But it`s very important to note that the witness on the beach by the Holiday Inn has absolutely no knowledge of the witness over there to the east side of the island by the landfill or dump. They don't know each other, but still they give the same description of the same white pick-up.

The witness by the landfill tells us that he was sitting in his car and he saw a white pick-up truck drive in, their were 3 occupants and 2 of them got out. Picked up a trash can plastic bag, the black ones, the big ones and they carried it over to where this whole bunch of other bags and rubble was. Now when they were doing that, he says that some blond hair fell out of the bag because the bag was not properly sealed and that he could see parts of human body and then he saw them dig a little among the rubble that was there already and then place this bag there then covered with some other near by lying bags and then put a small pool, plastic pool that babies swim in or bathe in on top of it and then put some more stuff and then walked away. He also told us that there was another car outside of the cyclone fence, looking on. The man in that car stepped out, he stood by the fence and looked at the whole proceeding's. We do believe him because from the beginning he has been reliable with his story and it does fit the description we got from another witness between the Holiday Inn and the Marriott Hotel.
The letter that we received is from the wife of the person with whom this guy was on the beach with between the Holiday Inn and Marriott wrote us because she was getting a annoyed that no one was paying attention to the declaration that this man gave to her husband at the hotel.

O'REILLY: Do you believe it strange the Kalpoe brothers are out of jail?
ARENDS: Not really, because when the judge of instruction (ph) reviewed their case, that revision is very, very thorough. It's not surprising that everything was upheld from the previous case.
O'REILLY: Do you believe that it's cruel to the Holloway family for the Aruban government not to really let them in on some facets of the investigation? You know, what you just told us makes a difference to the Holloways -- I'm sure they'll hear it -- because it gives them some hope.
ARENDS: Well, the thing is, again, as has been explained before, if this case goes to court and the judge finds out that some information has been leaked out and the case could be damaged, it could be thrown out based out on technicality. And that's one thing that the prosecution really doesn't want to do.
O'REILLY: Yes, but I mean, I looked at your criminal statutes. And if there's a private attorney who gets access to information and delivers that information, there is no threat of that happening at all. You know that.
ARENDS: Yes, but we also know how reporters are. And we tend to pry. And the Holloways and Twitties have been on all these American shows, and they've been asked and asked, and something can slip and can damage the case.
O'REILLY: All right. I don't quite see it the way that you do. I think that there can be a way to get information to the family that's not going to damage the case or cause anything to be thrown out on a technicality. I believe that it's more convenient for the Aruban government and the authorities there to keep everything locked down.
I'll give you the last word.
ARENDS: Well, convenient, yes, it is convenient to their case, because they have a huge responsibility. It's not only, I mean, of course the emotional part is very heavy, and it is on -- for the part of the family. I mean, it's been six weeks and I mean, everybody acknowledges that.
However, the responsibility is on the shoulders of the investigative team and the prosecution. And they also have to respond to the community for Aruba who has been bearing this all. I mean, we've been suffering, too. Perhaps not to the extent of the emotional part of the family, but we certainly have been in the eye of the storm.

The same day he saw Prime Suspect JORAN VAN DER SLOOT, Current Suspect DEEPAK KALPOE, and Current Suspect SATISH KALPOE bury the blonde-haired nude woman in the landfill he also saw all 3 Suspects being shown on TV. When he saw them on TV he phoned the ARUBAN Police and told them he had seen the 3 suspects shown on TV at the landfill burying a woman?s body, but the ARUBAN Police did not go to the landfill and check for a body right away. RAOUL said when the landfill witness saw the 3 Suspects they had a shovel, they used the shovel to remove the ?sand? in the landfill and they dug the hole. It was windy, and at one point the wind blew open the black garbage bag the woman?s body was in and he could see about half of her nude body and blonde hair. RAOUL stated, "He see the half the body and I told you the hair was muddy and the skin was like purple. They then buried the woman, then covered her up with the ?sand,? and afterwards they put the blue kiddie pool over where they buried her body. Key witness reveals what happened 4:05 am at Monserat
Paulus and Joran were “looking” for something on the side of the road
ORANJESTAD(AAN): Last week, DIARIO published the latest information regarding the key witness, who came forward to disclose everything he witnessed on May 2005 from his house, which is situated in the neighborhood of the Nacional Soccer field, close to the Monserat pond.
However the witness was afraid to come forward to the Police and local Prosecutor, because of the prejudice in the Prosecutor Office, which is alive and growing each day.
He did give a statement to the Prosecutor, but to certain extent. The more important and key details he revealed to the American investigators.
The American investigators listened very carefully to his story and immediately felt that he was telling the truth. They then asked him if he was willing to go to the States and pass a polygraph test.
The witness was tested by John S. Swartz, a renowned professional in this field, and the test revealed that he was telling the truth! Finally shedding some light on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005.
Last week, after months of following the new developments, DIARIO published the first part of the witness’ statement. This statement that was already in Prosecutor Mos’s hands.
DIARIO opted to wait until after the FBI sent the results of the polygraph test and their investigation to Holland, before publishing the second part of the statement, considering that Holland would send a copy to Aruba.
THE WITNESS’ STATEMENT
On May 30th, 2005 he was sleeping in his room; when he was awaken by the alarming sound of barking dogs. He opened his eyes and checked his alarm clock; it was 4:05 am.
He got up and listening to where the barking was coming from, he went in the living room and peeked thru the window to find out why the dogs sounded so alarmed.
Under the streetlight, he saw someone walking towards his house, from the Nacional Soccer field, close to the Monserat pond and hotel area.
While the person was walking under another streetlight, he could clearly see the person. It was undoubtedly a man, notably tall, slim, Caucasian, with short and dark hair, relatively young and he looked like a Dutch citizen.
He could see his profile and one side of his face.
He was wearing a red t-shirt and light colored pants. The witness noticed by the way the person was limping, that he was missing his right sneaker or shoe. He also noted that the person was breathing extremely hard, as if he just had been running very hard for a long time. His chest was heaving.
WET AND MUDDY CLOTHES
The witness stated (and probably also in the lie-detector test), that the person clothes were wet and that he also saw a muddy stripe on his chest, more or less about 5 centimeters above his chest.
The muddy stripe on his chest clearly showed that he was completely wet.
At first glance, the witness though that the person maybe had been in a fight with someone, and he was running not to get beat up. But his face showed no bruises or blood.
But because he didn’t look back not even to check if someone might be following him and just kept walking fast with his head down, the witness thought he did something other that fighting.
The person walked past his house, and kept walking, until he was out of sight, and he never raised his head or looked back, and just kept walking in the hotel’s direction.
This happened in about one minute.
NEW INFORMATION
After the witness saw the person walk past his house and was out of sight, he sat down in his living room for about 5 minutes.
He then noticed a car driving slowly, coming from the hotel area. Behind the wheel was a middle-aged, Caucasian man. Next to him, the witness saw the young man that was walking past his house a few minutes earlier.
The witness said they were driving a red jeep, and that they were driving extremely slow. He stated to the American investigators that was clearly that the driver and the passenger were looking for something on the floor. He said that the car just keep going in the direction of the Monserat pond.
HE RECOGNIZED THE DRIVER
According to the witness, in the following weeks he recognized the young man as Joran van der Sloot, when his pictures started to circulate in the press, and that the disappearance of Natalee Holloway became an international media frenzy.
He also recognized the driver as Paulus van der Sloot, Joran’s father. The witness stated that, that was everything he saw and that nothing more happened.
The question in everyone mind is: What were Paulus and Joran looking for on that road? The fact that the witness passed the polygraph test and is telling the truth is enough to focus the attention on that.
Of course the public wants to know why this witness didn’t come forward in 2005.
The witness was afraid of the consequences of his statement, since he was well aware that Paulus van der Sloot has powerful connections in the Prosecutors Office. Paulus is a lawyer, and he was studying to become a judge.
Knowing that the justice system in Aruba is totally in Dutch hands, he felt compelled to keep his mouth shut. This went on for more than 2 years, and in the end of 2007, he felt the need to reveal what he saw that day from his house.
The witness hired a lawyer to defend him, because in such a complicated case, even the witness has to be prepared for any eventuality, and also for guidance.
Meanwhile American investigators, with the consent from local authorities, did a sonar test at the Monserat pond in the beginning of this year, when the water level was low.
DIARIO was informed that this test discovered 15 objects underwater, and that only 3 could be defined.
A polygraph (popularly referred to as a lie detector) is an instrument that measures and records several physiological responses such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration and skin conductivity while the subject is asked and answers a series of questions, on the theory that false answers will produce distinctive measurements. The polygraph measures physiological changes caused by the sympathetic nervous system during questioning.
The 48 year old witness passed this test with flying colors, indicating that everything he saw that dawn, close to the Monserat pond, is true.
DIARIO presumes that the Prosecutor’s Office received this statement from Holland, and just in case they didn’t, they can read it today for free and begin to do their homework.

De zeer belangrijke getuige openbaart wat 4:05 am in Monserat gebeurde
Paulus en Joran „keken“ voor iets aan de kant van de weg
ORANJESTAD (AAN): Vorige week, publiceerde DIARIO de recentste informatie betreffende de belangrijkste getuige, die vooruit alles kwam onthullen hij op Mei 2005 van zijn huis, dat in de buurt van het gebied van het Voetbal Nacional gesitueerd is, dicht bij de vijver Monserat getuigde.
Nochtans was de getuige bang om vooruit aan de Politie en de lokale Eiser, wegens het nadeel in het Bureau van de Eiser te komen, dat elke dag in leven en kwekend is.
Hij gaf een verklaring aan de Eiser, maar tot op zekere hoogte . De belangrijkere en belangrijkste details die hij aan de Amerikaanse onderzoekers heeft geopenbaard.
De Amerikaanse onderzoekers luisterden zeer zorgvuldig aan zijn verhaal en waren onmiddellijk van mening dat hij de waarheid vertelde. Zij vroegen hem toen of was hij bereid om naar de Staten te gaan en een polygraph test over te gaan.
De getuige werd getest door John S. Swartz, een renowned beroeps op dit gebied, en de test openbaarden dat hij de waarheid vertelde! Tot slot afwerpend wat licht op de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway in 2005.
Vorige week, na maanden van het volgende van de nieuwe ontwikkelingen, publiceerde DIARIO het eerste deel van de getuigen' verklaring. Deze verklaring die reeds in Mos van de Eiser handen was.
DIARIO opteerde om te wachten tot nadat FBI de resultaten van de polygraph test en hun onderzoek naar Holland verzond, alvorens het tweede deel te publiceren dat van de verklaring van mening is, dat Holland een exemplaar naar Aruba zou verzenden.
DE VERKLARING VAN DE GETUIGE'
Op 30 Mei, 2005 sliep hij in zijn ruimte; toen hij was wek door het alarmerende geluid van blaffende honden. Hij opende zijn ogen en controleerde zijn wekker; het was 4:05 am.
Hij stond op en luisterend aan waar het ontschorsen kwam uit, ging hij in de woonkamer en gluurde door het venster om te weten te komen waarom de honden zo gealarmeerd klonken.
Onder de straatlantaarn, zag hij iemand lopend naar zijn huis, van het gebied van het Voetbal Nacional, dicht bij het vijver Monserat en hotel gebied.
Terwijl de persoon onder een andere straatlantaarn liep, kon hij de persoon duidelijk zien. Het was ongetwijfeld een mens, in het bijzonder lang, slank, Kaukasisch, met kort en donker vrij jong haar, en hij keek als een Nederlandse burger.
Hij kon zijn profiel en één kant van zijn gezicht zien.
Hij droeg een rode t-shirt en een lichte broek. De getuige die door de manier wordt opgemerkt de persoon limping, dat hij zijn juiste tennisschoen of schoen miste. Hij merkte ook op dat de persoon uiterst hard ademde, alsof hij net zeer hard lange tijd had gelopen. Zijn borst hees.
NATTE EN MODDERIGE KLEREN
De verklaarde getuige (en waarschijnlijk ook in de leugen-detector test), die de persoonskleren nat waren en die hij ook een modderige streep op zijn borst zag, min of meer ongeveer 5 centimeters boven zijn borst.
De modderige streep op zijn borst toonde duidelijk aan dat hij volledig nat was.
Eerst omhoog sloeg de blik, de getuige hoewel dat de persoon misschien in een strijd met iemand was geweest, en hij niet om liep te krijgen. Maar zijn gezicht toonde geen kneuzingen of bloed.
Maar omdat hij niet terug niet zelfs om keek te controleren als iemand hem zou kunnen volgen en enkel gehouden lopend snel met zijn neer hoofd, dacht de getuige hij iets andere dat het vechten deed.
De persoon liep voorbij zijn huis, en hield lopend, tot hij uit gezicht was, en hij hief nooit zijn hoofd op of keek terug, en hield enkel lopend in de richting van het hotel.
Dit gebeurde in ongeveer één minuut.
NIEUWE INFORMATIE
Nadat de getuige de persoonsgang voorbij zijn huis zag en uit gezicht was, ging zitten hij in zijn woonkamer ongeveer 5 minuten.
Hij merkte toen auto langzaam het drijven op, komend uit het hotel gebied. Achter het wiel was een mens op middelbare leeftijd, Kaukasische. Naast hem, zag de getuige de jonge man die voorbij zijn huis een paar vroeger notulen liep.
De getuige zei zij rode jeep dreven, en dat zij uiterst langzaam dreven. Hij verklaarde aan de Amerikaanse onderzoekers die was duidelijk dat de bestuurder en de passagier iets op de vloer zochten. Hij zei dat de auto enkel houdt gaand in de richting van de vijver Monserat.
HIJ ERKENDE DE BESTUURDER
Volgens de getuige, in de volgende weken erkende hij de jonge man als Joran van der Sloot, toen zijn beelden om in de pers begonnen door te geven, en dat de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway internationale media frenzy werd.

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Vorige week, publiceerde DIARIO de recentste informatie betreffende de belangrijkste getuige, die vooruit alles kwam onthullen hij op Mei 2005 van zijn huis, dat in de buurt van het gebied van het Voetbal Nacional gesitueerd is, dicht bij de vijver Monserat getuigde.
Nochtans was de getuige bang om vooruit aan de Politie en de lokale Eiser, wegens het nadeel in het Bureau van de Eiser te komen, dat elke dag in leven en kwekend is.
Hij gaf een verklaring aan de Eiser, maar tot op zekere hoogte . De belangrijkere en belangrijkste details die hij aan de Amerikaanse onderzoekers heeft geopenbaard.
De Amerikaanse onderzoekers luisterden zeer zorgvuldig aan zijn verhaal en waren onmiddellijk van mening dat hij de waarheid vertelde. Zij vroegen hem toen of was hij bereid om naar de Staten te gaan en een polygraph test over te gaan.
De getuige werd getest door John S. Swartz, een renowned beroeps op dit gebied, en de test openbaarden dat hij de waarheid vertelde! Tot slot afwerpend wat licht op de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway in 2005.
Vorige week, na maanden van het volgende van de nieuwe ontwikkelingen, publiceerde DIARIO het eerste deel van de getuigen' verklaring. Deze verklaring die reeds in Mos van de Eiser handen was.
DIARIO opteerde om te wachten tot nadat FBI de resultaten van de polygraph test en hun onderzoek naar Holland verzond, alvorens het tweede deel te publiceren dat van de verklaring van mening is, dat Holland een exemplaar naar Aruba zou verzenden.
DE VERKLARING VAN DE GETUIGE'
Op 30 Mei, 2005 sliep hij in zijn ruimte; toen hij was wek door het alarmerende geluid van blaffende honden. Hij opende zijn ogen en controleerde zijn wekker; het was 4:05 am.
Hij stond op en luisterend aan waar het ontschorsen kwam uit, ging hij in de woonkamer en gluurde door het venster om te weten te komen waarom de honden zo gealarmeerd klonken.
Onder de straatlantaarn, zag hij iemand lopend naar zijn huis, van het gebied van het Voetbal Nacional, dicht bij het vijver Monserat en hotel gebied.
Terwijl de persoon onder een andere straatlantaarn liep, kon hij de persoon duidelijk zien. Het was ongetwijfeld een mens, in het bijzonder lang, slank, Kaukasisch, met kort en donker vrij jong haar, en hij keek als een Nederlandse burger.
Hij kon zijn profiel en één kant van zijn gezicht zien.
Hij droeg een rode t-shirt en een lichte broek. De getuige die door de manier wordt opgemerkt de persoon limping, dat hij zijn juiste tennisschoen of schoen miste. Hij merkte ook op dat de persoon uiterst hard ademde, alsof hij net zeer hard lange tijd had gelopen. Zijn borst hees.
NATTE EN MODDERIGE KLEREN
De verklaarde getuige (en waarschijnlijk ook in de leugen-detector test), die de persoonskleren nat waren en die hij ook een modderige streep op zijn borst zag, min of meer ongeveer 5 centimeters boven zijn borst.
De modderige streep op zijn borst toonde duidelijk aan dat hij volledig nat was.
Eerst omhoog sloeg de blik, de getuige hoewel dat de persoon misschien in een strijd met iemand was geweest, en hij niet om liep te krijgen. Maar zijn gezicht toonde geen kneuzingen of bloed.
Maar omdat hij niet terug niet zelfs om keek te controleren als iemand hem zou kunnen volgen en enkel gehouden lopend snel met zijn neer hoofd, dacht de getuige hij iets andere dat het vechten deed.
De persoon liep voorbij zijn huis, en hield lopend, tot hij uit gezicht was, en hij hief nooit zijn hoofd op of keek terug, en hield enkel lopend in de richting van het hotel.
Dit gebeurde in ongeveer één minuut.
NIEUWE INFORMATIE
Nadat de getuige de persoonsgang voorbij zijn huis zag en uit gezicht was, ging zitten hij in zijn woonkamer ongeveer 5 minuten.
Hij merkte toen auto langzaam het drijven op, komend uit het hotel gebied. Achter het wiel was een mens op middelbare leeftijd, Kaukasische. Naast hem, zag de getuige de jonge man die voorbij zijn huis een paar vroeger notulen liep.
De getuige zei zij rode jeep dreven, en dat zij uiterst langzaam dreven. Hij verklaarde aan de Amerikaanse onderzoekers die was duidelijk dat de bestuurder en de passagier iets op de vloer zochten. Hij zei dat de auto enkel houdt gaand in de richting van de vijver Monserat.
HIJ ERKENDE DE BESTUURDER
Volgens de getuige, in de volgende weken erkende hij de jonge man als Joran van der Sloot, toen zijn beelden om in de pers begonnen door te geven, en dat de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway internationale media frenzy werd.

ORANJESTAD(AAN): Last week, DIARIO published the latest information regarding the key witness, who came forward to disclose everything he witnessed on May 2005 from his house, which is situated in the neighborhood of the Nacional Soccer field, close to the Monserat pond.
However the witness was afraid to come forward to the Police and local Prosecutor, because of the prejudice in the Prosecutor Office, which is alive and growing each day.
He did give a statement to the Prosecutor, but to certain extent. The more important and key details he revealed to the American investigators.
The American investigators listened very carefully to his story and immediately felt that he was telling the truth. They then asked him if he was willing to go to the States and pass a polygraph test.
The witness was tested by John S. Swartz, a renowned professional in this field, and the test revealed that he was telling the truth! Finally shedding some light on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005.
Last week, after months of following the new developments, DIARIO published the first part of the witness’ statement. This statement that was already in Prosecutor Mos’s hands.
DIARIO opted to wait until after the FBI sent the results of the polygraph test and their investigation to Holland, before publishing the second part of the statement, considering that Holland would send a copy to Aruba.
THE WITNESS’ STATEMENT
On May 30th, 2005 he was sleeping in his room; when he was awaken by the alarming sound of barking dogs. He opened his eyes and checked his alarm clock; it was 4:05 am.
He got up and listening to where the barking was coming from, he went in the living room and peeked thru the window to find out why the dogs sounded so alarmed.
Under the streetlight, he saw someone walking towards his house, from the Nacional Soccer field, close to the Monserat pond and hotel area.
While the person was walking under another streetlight, he could clearly see the person. It was undoubtedly a man, notably tall, slim, Caucasian, with short and dark hair, relatively young and he looked like a Dutch citizen.
He could see his profile and one side of his face.
He was wearing a red t-shirt and light colored pants. The witness noticed by the way the person was limping, that he was missing his right sneaker or shoe. He also noted that the person was breathing extremely hard, as if he just had been running very hard for a long time. His chest was heaving.
WET AND MUDDY CLOTHES
The witness stated (and probably also in the lie-detector test), that the person clothes were wet and that he also saw a muddy stripe on his chest, more or less about 5 centimeters above his chest.
The muddy stripe on his chest clearly showed that he was completely wet.
At first glance, the witness though that the person maybe had been in a fight with someone, and he was running not to get beat up. But his face showed no bruises or blood.
But because he didn’t look back not even to check if someone might be following him and just kept walking fast with his head down, the witness thought he did something other that fighting.
The person walked past his house, and kept walking, until he was out of sight, and he never raised his head or looked back, and just kept walking in the hotel’s direction.
This happened in about one minute.
NEW INFORMATION
After the witness saw the person walk past his house and was out of sight, he sat down in his living room for about 5 minutes.
He then noticed a car driving slowly, coming from the hotel area. Behind the wheel was a middle-aged, Caucasian man. Next to him, the witness saw the young man that was walking past his house a few minutes earlier.
The witness said they were driving a red jeep, and that they were driving extremely slow. He stated to the American investigators that was clearly that the driver and the passenger were looking for something on the floor. He said that the car just keep going in the direction of the Monserat pond.
HE RECOGNIZED THE DRIVER
According to the witness, in the following weeks he recognized the young man as Joran van der Sloot, when his pictures started to circulate in the press, and that the disappearance of Natalee Holloway became an international media frenzy.
He also recognized the driver as Paulus van der Sloot, Joran’s father. The witness stated that, that was everything he saw and that nothing more happened.
The question in everyone mind is: What were Paulus and Joran looking for on that road? The fact that the witness passed the polygraph test and is telling the truth is enough to focus the attention on that.
Of course the public wants to know why this witness didn’t come forward in 2005.
The witness was afraid of the consequences of his statement, since he was well aware that Paulus van der Sloot has powerful connections in the Prosecutors Office. Paulus is a lawyer, and he was studying to become a judge.
Knowing that the justice system in Aruba is totally in Dutch hands, he felt compelled to keep his mouth shut. This went on for more than 2 years, and in the end of 2007, he felt the need to reveal what he saw that day from his house.
The witness hired a lawyer to defend him, because in such a complicated case, even the witness has to be prepared for any eventuality, and also for guidance.
Meanwhile American investigators, with the consent from local authorities, did a sonar test at the Monserat pond in the beginning of this year, when the water level was low.
DIARIO was informed that this test discovered 15 objects underwater, and that only 3 could be defined.
A polygraph (popularly referred to as a lie detector) is an instrument that measures and records several physiological responses such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration and skin conductivity while the subject is asked and answers a series of questions, on the theory that false answers will produce distinctive measurements. The polygraph measures physiological changes caused by the sympathetic nervous system during questioning.
The 48 year old witness passed this test with flying colors, indicating that everything he saw that dawn, close to the Monserat pond, is true.
DIARIO presumes that the Prosecutor’s Office received this statement from Holland, and just in case they didn’t, they can read it today for free and begin to do their homework.

There were several people who saw this white PU,from what I recall the Landfill witness gave them the tag number and they said that belonged to a Malibu. They also said the Truck was issued to the police and was not in the area that day. If it was a police truck that would be very interesting! This all happened in the very beginning and addition to those people I listed above there was also a tourist who saw the same thing,she posted several times about this at RWV back in 2005. They all reported very similar details and there is still the report of a lady screaming by the Marriott who was put in a white PU. I seriously doubt all of these people made up these events to collaborate with one another,I believe there is some truth here and it's very important to solving the case.
There was a witness named Fransisco who said he helped bury Natalee with two others using a white PU,one of the others worked at the Marriott. He was locked up in a Mental Hospital but I have no idea where he is now. Art wood interviewed this Fransisco two times and his friends said he was not crazy. There are two Fransisco's interviewed on 6-5,6-8 and 6-10-05..He may be one of them I am not sure. This was also witnessed by a fisherman named Barbashe.

You mentioned a Colombian guy who dissapeared? Sergio Gomez? I dont know what ever happened to that guy as they found his truck abandoned,it was in the papers the same time that Rene Van Heyningen was murdered at the Govt Cemetary.
We saw that Dompig said he believes Natalee was moved possibly several times and I concur. I dont know if she was in the landfill or the shallow grave and If she was I feel she was moved. No clue where that may be but there are two more witnesses that may have some clues to that.
Art wood also interviewed a backhoe operater who he found extremely credible. Apparently he did some work for PVDS shortly after NH dissapeared,I suppose he used his backhoe prior to PVDS pouring concrete for the work around the pool. I know this Info was one of the reasons the KLPD searched the VDS property last year. Art just said this man was extremely nervous but credible. The search at the VDS home seemed to be focused on the garden as they used those long rods for soil samples. What is interesting is in Peter De Vries first broadcast he told us the ALE thought that Natalee may have died in the garden.
There is a witness named Maria who the Diario Newspaper printed a article on a few months ago. Apparently her relative was a PVDS handyman and she claims he poured concrete for PVDS after NH dissapeared. Shortly after that he dissapeared and was never seen again,she feels he was murdered. Apparently he was a colombian man also. If she is truthfull then I think its possible Natalee was buried somewhere on that island with concrete on top of her.
From the very beginning I have always thought this WHite PU and the Marriott were major clues in this case and if it is true that Deepaks cell phone pinged around the Marriott after 3-4AM then I think it supports this evidence.

I really enjoy reading your posts here and never giving up on your quest for finding the truth.
Last time I saw him bring up Fransisco was in BFN chat and he didnt say much at all. Only that he talked to his friends and they said he was not crazy and that he interviewed him twice. I don't know what he really thinks,but after looking at all the info there is no question this White PU and the witnesses need to be looked at and I think they are very important. This Fransisco was locked up pretty quickly after he went to the ALE and told them what he did. I never heard too many other details,like who was his friend from the Marriott and were they paid? Who drove the truck? Did they give the same location as the Barbashe? Are they the three sweaty males that were spotted with a shovel digging? Was it the shallow grave that was found? Ill see if I can find out more on this....I do know that Art Wood thought the Backhoe operater was absolutely credible and his info was partly why they searched the VDS home in 2007.
This White PU etc was talked about very early in the case and very rarely brought up since then. When I have time I will also look for a American who was staying at the Marriott that night that saw the same things. I think his wife or GF was blogging at RWV and swears he saw the same thing from his hotel window. That Barbashe,Fransisco and Raoul very well may be key witnesses to Natalee's first burial.
From what I recall this Maid later called into the Radio station to report this..I think the DJ was Edmond Croes. Maybe Magic 95?
A Woman reported that on May 30, 2005 at about 3:00 AM a maid at the “Marriott Hotel” and a couple of “Marriott Hotel” guests heard a scream(s?), then shortly thereafter witnessed a woman being forced into a white SUV by “two dark skinned men." The maid then contacted the “Marriott Hotel” security, and they, in turn, contacted the ARUBAN Police.
Some persons on the island with radio Police scanners have been said to have overheard the ARUBAN Police dispatches being made for ARUBAN Police patrolman be on the lookout for the white pickup truck--possibly made by “Toyota,” but, apparently, nothing ever came of this.

GRACE: OK. So you`ve got a white pick-up at the Holiday Inn, where Natalee was staying. You`ve got a white pick-up at the landfill. Both eyewitnesses state that there were three individuals, I`m assuming male. But can they give an identification of Joran Van Der Sloot or the Kalpoe brothers?

But it`s very important to note that the witness on the beach by the Holiday Inn has absolutely no knowledge of the witness over there to the east side of the island by the landfill or dump. They don't know each other, but still they give the same description of the same white pick-up.

ORANJESTAD/AMSTERDAM — De Gevolmachtigde minister van Aruba in Nederland, Frido Croes, heeft afgelopen week in Amsterdam overleg gevoerd met vertegenwoordigers van de belangrijkste sociaal-culturele fondsen van Nederland. Met het overleg wilde Croes nagaan of er mogelijkheden zijn om de Arubaanse stichtingen Unoca en Sede financieel te ondersteunen. Verschillende Nederlandse organisaties toonden interesse, maar wilden meer informatie over de betreffende stichtingen.
Unoca en Sede worden vooral gesubsidieerd door Fondo Desaroyo Aruba (FDA). Nederland draagt na 2009 echter niet meer bij aan dit ontwikkelingsfonds. Het in 2006 door Nederland met Aruba afgesproken meerjarenprogramma 2006-2009 loopt dan af.
Hiermee eindigt de in 1999 overeengekomen Arubadeal en wordt een groot deel van de programmatische samenwerking met Nederland beëindigd. Het gevaar bestaat dat het werk van deze stichtingen, die dus voor een groot deel afhankelijk zijn van Nederlands geld, in gevaar komt. Om na 2009 toch nog fondsen vanuit Nederland te krijgen ter ondersteuning van deze belangrijke stichtingen, heeft de minister het initiatief genomen om met verschillende partijen om de tafel te gaan zitten om te praten over mogelijke oplossingen.
Overleg
Tijdens het overleg heeft de minister gesproken over het maatschappelijke belang en de werkzaamheden van deze Arubaanse organisaties. Bovendien bracht de minster naar voren dat Arubaanse organisaties niet vaak bij Nederland aankloppen voor geld. Dit komt volgens Croes onder meer door de tijd die het kost voordat geld vanuit Nederland vrijkomt, maar ook doordat veel organisaties op ons eiland niet op de hoogte zijn van het feit dat ze subsidie uit Nederland kunnen krijgen. Croes geeft bovendien aan dat er in Nederland vaak de misvatting bestaat, dat Aruba niet om weet te gaan met fondsen die het vanuit Nederland ontvangt. Organisaties zijn vanwege dit beeld minder snel geneigd om met geld over de brug te komen. Minister Croes laat echter weten dat de betreffende stichtingen al meer dan 25 jaar ervaring hebben, bovendien worden ze bestuurd door personen die goed weten hoe ze subsidiegeld het beste kunnen inzetten. Verder geeft Croes aan dat, gezien de grote hoeveelheid geld die vanuit Nederland richting de Nederlandse Antillen gaat, het mogelijk moet zijn dat een klein deel hiervan wordt gebruik om deze belangrijke organisaties te ondersteunen. De vertegenwoordigers van de verschillende fondsen toonden zich begaan met de Arubaanse situatie. Vooral de sociale fondsen wilden meer uitleg over het werk van de twee stichtingen. De minister gaat kijken of het mogelijk is om medewerkers van deze stichtingen naar Nederland te halen om gedachten uit te wisselen en plannen te maken. Een van de organisaties in het overleg, het Zorgfonds Nederland, bood meteen praktische hulp en stelde per direct vier rolstoelen en twintig rollators beschikbaar voor bejaarden op ons eiland. Het Zorgfonds richt zich onder meer op kansarme kinderen en ouderen binnen de samenleving.
National Security Plan
Overigens is het niet zo dat na 2009 er helemaal geen hulp en geld vanuit Nederland meer komt. Nederland heeft, gelet op de nog beschikbare middelen en de noodzaak van maatregelen op het terrein van de rechtshandhaving, een bijzondere voorziening getroffen voor een nieuw programma rechtshandhaving. Hierbinnen vallen tevens de verbetering van het Korps Politie Aruba en de vreemdelingenketen. De vrijgevallen schuldsaneringsmiddelen over de periode 2003-2007 worden gebruikt voor de financiering van het National Security Plan Aruba 2008-2012. Nederland stelt hiervoor 61,2 miljoen florin ter beschikking. Het gaat hier om een langere looptijd van de samenwerking tussen Nederland. Aruba zal overigens ook volgend jaar nog 4 miljoen euro (10 miljoen florin) moeten bijdragen aan het solidariteitsfonds. Dit omdat de staatkundige vernieuwingen eind van dit jaar nog niet zullen zijn voltooid.

‘Jonge crimineel bijna niet te straffen’
ORANJESTAD — “Als een 14- of 15-jarige iemand vermoordt, dan kan deze op dit moment geen gevangenisstraf worden opgelegd”. Dat is een van de schokkende conclusies die vertegenwoordigers van het Openbaar Ministerie (OM), Reclassering, Jeugd en Zedenpolitie en Voogdijraad gisteren openbaarden, in een interview dat ze zelf een ‘hartenkreet’ noemen om jeugdcriminaliteit adequaat aan te kunnen pakken.

De vertegenwoordigers van deze vier instanties zitten maandelijks in een overleg – het Jeugdoverleg– waarin ze jongeren die vastzitten bespreken. Het gaat gemiddeld om vijf gevallen per maand en over een jaar gemiddeld 70 tot 100 jeugdigen in de leeftijd van 12 tot en met 17 jaar die met justitie in aanraking zijn gekomen. Dit zijn overigens niet de lichte gevallen, maar vaak de ‘zwaardere jongens’ die een zwaar misdrijf hebben gepleegd of al vaker vergrijpen op hun naam hebben staan.
En de misdrijven die jeugdigen plegen, worden elk jaar zwaarder terwijl justitie aan de andere kant amper sancties kan opleggen omdat het jeugdstrafrecht in ruim tachtig jaar niet is aangepast. De ‘hartenkreet’ waarmee het Jeugdoverleg nu naar buiten komt is dan ook niet zozeer ingegeven door een drastische toename van het aantal jonge criminelen, maar wel de steeds zwaardere overtredingen en misdrijven die jeugdigen begaan zonder dat ze daar naar verhouding voor gestraft kunnen worden. “De sancties die we kunnen opleggen zijn hopeloos. We voelen het iedere maand in het Jeugdoverleg. Het jeugdstrafrecht moét daarom echt zo snel mogelijk worden aangepast”, zegt officier van justitie, Frans van Deutekom.
Bendes
In de top zes strafbare feiten die jongeren plegen, staat inbraak bovenaan gevolgd door mishandeling waarbij steeds vaker een wapen wordt gebruikt. In dit verband wordt door het Jeugdoverleg ook eerdere berichten vanuit het politiekorps bevestigd dat jongeren steeds vaker met vuurwapens worden betrapt. Op nummer drie staat openlijke geweldpleging, gevolgd door vernieling, heling en het plegen van zedendelicten. Van Deutekom: “Als je naar de motieven van jongeren kijkt die zedendelicten plegen, dan blijkt vooral dat het om jongens gaat die hun eigen grenzen niet kennen. Die niet uitgelegd hebben gekregen hoe ze hun meisje moeten behandelen.”
Zorgenpunt is ook de problemen die jongeren veroorzaken in groepsverband. Van het fenomeen gangs of jeugdbendes zoals deze groepen in de media worden genoemd, is op Aruba nog geen sprake, vindt Van Deutekom. “Ze zijn niet georganiseerd met bepaalde codes waarbij voorbeeld sprake is dat een ganglid wordt gestraft als hij zich er niet aan houdt. Het zijn groepen die van wisselende samenstelling zijn rondom een of twee hoofdpersonen die wel echte criminelen zijn.” Ook Seraida Pemberton-Leonard, coördinator alternatieve sancties bij de Reclassering, wil niet van gangs spreken omdat ‘de ouders van jongeren die in zo’n groep zitten het woord zodanig niet herkennen. Ze zeggen ons dat hun dochter of zoon absoluut niet in een gang zit, maar als we vragen of hun kinderen in een groep zit die in de wijk rondhangt, dan herkennen de ouders dat wel’.
Pemberton-Leonard denkt wel dat met de huidige ontwikkelingen het de richting opgaat van jeugdbendes.
Om al deze negatieve ontwikkelingen te keren, is het daarom van groot belang dat in eerste instantie de wettelijke instrumenten worden gemoderniseerd, benadrukt Van Deutekom. “Er moet concreet zo snel mogelijk een gevangenisstraf komen voor 14- en 15-jarigen. Die mogelijkheid biedt de wet nu niet.” Juridisch medewerker Yolanda Pronk, belast met jeugdzaken bij het OM, zegt het nog scherper: “Deze jongeren kunnen dus op dit moment een burger neersteken en weer vrij rond lopen. Dit lijkt mij niet wat de gemeenschap wil.”
Officier van justitie Van Deutekom legt uit dat het jeugdstrafrecht van toepassing is op jongeren tussen de 12 en 18 jaar. Jongeren beneden de 12 jaar kunnen volgens de wet strafrechtelijk niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld. Het grote probleem is dat in het huidige strafrecht voor de andere leeftijden bijna geen sancties zijn. “Er kan een geldboete van 90 florin worden opgelegd. Daarnaast kan de rechter een tbr-straf (ter beschikking stelling van de regering) opleggen, maar dat gebeurt nooit want er is geen inrichting op Aruba waar de jeugdige opgesloten kan worden. Tot slot kan een gevangenisstraf worden opgelegd, maar deze is gekoppeld aan tbr. Dus de jeugdige moet eerst een tbr-straf ondergaan en kan pas daarna de gevangenis in. Maar omdat een tbr-straf dus niet opgelegd kan worden, sta je dus met lege handen.”
De wet biedt wel een uitzondering, waar het OM bij gebrek aan beter, gebruik van maakt en dat is dat voor 16-jarigen en ouder het volwassen strafrecht toegepast mag worden. Van Deutekom:“Deze uitzondering is eigenlijk bedoeld voor vroegrijpe personen, maar we zijn nu gedwongen om het standaard te gebruiken omdat de jeugdstrafrecht geen mogelijkheid biedt.” Het OM heeft ook nog altijd een alternatief namelijk een TOM-zitting waarbij niet de rechter maar officier van justitie de jonge crimineel een taak- of leerstraf kan opleggen. Hiermee moet de verdachte wel akkoord gaan. Bovendien is deze alternatieve vervolging alleen mogelijk als de jongere een strafbare feit heeft gepleegd waar een maximale straf van drie maanden onvoorwaardelijke gevangenisstraf kan worden gegeven. Een TOM-zitting kan bovendien ook nadelig uitpakken voor de verdachte. “Een alternatief straf is vaak zwaarder dan als de jeugdige besluit om de zaak voor de rechter te laten komen. Deze kan namelijk alleen een boete van 90 florin opleggen. Dat kan natuurlijk ook niet dat het OM een zwaardere straf dan de rechter kan opleggen.”
Met deze ‘hartenkreet’ hoopt het OM en ook de andere deelnemers van het Jeugdoverleg dat de gemeenschap zo snel mogelijk de jeugdproblematiek met als uitwas de jeugdcriminaliteit structureel aanpakt. “De wet moet veranderd worden, maar alleen met repressieve middelen komen we er niet. Er moet een jeugdopvang komen waar jonge criminelen met gedragsproblemen behandeld kunnen worden en als ze eruit komen verder begeleid worden. Er zijn initiatieven binnen de overheid, op scholen om probleemjongeren aan te pakken, maar het zijn allemaal aparte eilandjes. Eigenlijk heeft Aruba een integraal jeugdbeleid nodig”, besluit Van Deutekom.

Hi Bastibro..Yes I hope this leads to a smoking gun as well..If they really wanted to solve the case they would act on this info..Unfortunately I have yet to see them follow through on anything that is important in this case in a long time. verder zijn ze op aruba nog met deze zaak bezig ? of hebben we het hier over americanen die de getuigen hebben gevonden ?? ik bedoel die getuigen van 4 am die joran en later paul zag in het straat lantaarnlicht
wat me weer opvalt is dat de nieuwe getuigen het niet heeft over dat joran loopt te hinken. dus joran was niet op bloten voeten of met 1 schoen. de vraag is dan wat zochten paul en joran dan ??? toch een schoen ??

Toch zou het mooi zijn wanneer dit goed wordt uitgezocht en niet, zoals Mos schijnt te doen, metteen maar naar het land der fabelen wordt verwezen.
Ik heb zowieso de indruk dat ze een aantal getuigen gewoon niet serieus hebben genomen. Het blijkt uit een aantal stukjes die ik hierover heb gelezen.De vraag waarom doet je al snel denken dat ze de waarheid juist wilden verhullen helaas.

This is a very rough translation of a Diario Article a few months ago. From what I have heard this is a real witness and in my opinion it falls perfectly in line with the other possible witnesses.
We know Art Wood interviewed a backhoe operater who he thought was credible and it led to the search of the VDS home last year. From what I understood he did work for PVDS around the pool right after Natalee went missing. He was very nervous when interviewed but said he did not pour the concrete..
Art Wood: "I interviewed an Aruban Backhoe operator who said that he dug the new patio area where PVS poured concrete around the time that Natalee disappeared".."I think that it is one of the areas that was searched by the Dutch last year"
This witness Maria claims a relative of hers(Handyman for PVDS) helped PVDS pour concrete after NH dissapeared and since then has never been seen again. They also mention a stationwagon and she claims NH was buried on land and not the sea. Was the stationwagon yellow like what the landill witness described? I think its important to look at all the info in this case especially those that details match up. Many of these people are scared to come forward and I do not blame them. The puzzle is becoming quite clear for me..

Joran-periode
Ik heb altijd geweten dat wij niet het doorsnee koppel waren. Ik werk één dag per week bij Prénatal met veertien andere vrouwen, maar ik zou met geen van hen willen ruilen. Hoor ik mijn collega zeggen dat haar man om half twee ’s nachts thuiskwam en dat hij nu voorlopig niet meer weg mag… Tja, Patrick komt soms om half acht ’s ochtends thuis. Ik ken meiden die ook met een Antilliaan zijn en die dan gaan zoeken en bellen waar hun vriend is. Dan denk ik: ‘Hou op, vermoei je leven er toch niet mee. Je bent een leuke vrouw, hebt twee kinderen, als hij met iemand anders verder wil dan is dat toch zíjn verlies?’ Ik ga mijn leven niet laten leiden door de constante vraag of ik wel leuk genoeg ben. We liepen laatst in Milaan met de kinderen op straat, liep er een meisje voor ons, beeldschoon, prachtig figuurtje en Patrick zei: ‘O meisje toch, wat doe je met me.’ Ik voel me dan geenszins beledigd, vind mezelf best leuk namelijk. Even later reden we op weg naar het hotel door een tippelzone, sprong er een prostituee voor onze auto. Die schrok toen ze mij en de kinderen er ook in zag zitten. Daar moesten Patrick en ik erg om lachen. Hij zei: ‘Hè wat flauw, je kunt best even met de kinderen naar de achterbank verhuizen. Wat geeft dat nou.’ We hebben samen heel veel lol. De humor heeft ons ook door de hele Joran-periode heen gesleept. We woonden net twee weken in een recreatiewoning bij Arnhem toen hij Joran leerde kennen in het casino. Om half vier ’s nachts stond hij me wakker te schudden. ‘Ik heb Joran gezien, hij heeft het gedaan en hij gaat het me vertellen.’ Ik geloof niet in toeval, het heeft zo moeten zijn. Patrick is Joran niet gaan zoeken, maar toen hij hem zag dacht hij wel: ‘Die is van mij.’ Het Joran-verhaal zal de rest van ons leven wel bij ons blijven. Het is een soort loverboy-verhaal. Die jongen kijkt zo sterk op tegen Patrick. Als hij hem nu zou bellen en zou zeggen: ‘Dat heb ik toch goed gedaan, hè? Ik heb er flink wat geld aan overgehouden en ik heb ook wat voor jou, kom je hierheen?’ dan zou Joran verdergaan waar hij was gebleven. Zeker weten. Joran heeft tijdens de uitzending nog met Patrick zitten sms-en. Toen kon hij nog niet geloven dat Patrick hem erin had geluisd. Hij zei alleen maar: ‘Wat ben jij goed, zeg!’

Now there is that other story out there from Aruba's fm95 radio station that there is a witness that saw Natalee and Joran at the Marriott and that Joran left and Deepak returned to the hotel for something.
I wonder if this is the witness that the person at the radio person was referring to and I wonder if the decapitation was a message to her.
Please ping me if you come across further information on this. I'm looking for info on the man-with-no-head but can't find anything.

On Natalee's Yahoo forum there there is a report that a helicopter is searching Santa Lucia area because according to the cell phone records of one of the three suspects there was a call in the Santa Lucia area at 6:30 am the morning Natalee was to have met up with the group to leave for airport.
Santa Lucia is in Santa Cruz....pass the Ayo Rock Formations.... Right where they have the Donkey sanctuary on map on 2nd page of map Body maybe somewhere around area of Ayo Rock Formations.
