Er zijn een paar films die ik zo in een Top 10 kan plaatsen (Akira, Willow, Lord of the Rings, Transformers red.), maar dan kom ik niet aan de 10. Er zijn zoveel films die ik goed vind om verschillende redenen, dat ik het moeilijk vind om ze een plaats te geven. Een Top 100 is voor mij in dit geval beter op zijn plaats dan een bijvoorbeeld Top 10, 25, 50, 75. Met de Top 100 ex aequo opgesteld, komt mijn filmsmaak beter tot zijn recht.
