Dit is toch een best groot genre hoor.
Is snelle trance met meestal een hoge (vrouwen)stem erdoorheen.
Een soort van kruising tussen electro en hardstyle.
Naja je kent van het genre dat je het meeste luistert wel altijd een paar genres maar rock is bij mij ook echt gewoon rock en metal en verder niks
Qua elektronische muziek heb ik toch wel een beetje de verdeling van:
Electro
Hardcore
Hardstyle
House
Techno
Trance
En daar kan je in principe alles mee dekken.
Waar zou je electronische genres als drum & bass, ambient, IDM en triphop plaatsen?

Hartstikke leuk al die toevoegingen, maar wat betekenen de toevoegingen symphonisch of melodisch nou? De 1 leunt meer om toetsinstrumenten en de ander op snaarinstrumenten?
Terechte klacht, als je ziet wat sommige lui tegenwoordig allemaal verzinnen. Vooral binnen de electronische muziek hebben ze er nogal een handje van om voor ieder bliepje en kraakje een ander genre te verzinnen

Of ik moet psytrance verwarren met ravetrance? (Nog nooit van gehoord, maar nu ik zo rond zoek op youtube vind ik er wel wat van)
Drum & bass ambient IDM en triphop kunnen in mijn ogen wel bij techno/house, voornamelijk techno als je echt in de richting van de normale techno(niet schranz, misschien een beetje minimal) van de laatste jaren denkt.
Kijk, ik zeg niet dat het onzin is dat die muziek anders wordt genoemd, maar als je gewoon kijkt naar waar ze ongeveer op lijken kan je al die muziek wel in zo'n lijstje zoals in mijn vorige post plaatsen.

Wat betreft d&B, ambient, IDM en triphop kan ik het absoluut niet met je eens zijn. Drum & Bass, triphop en IDM ontberen over het algemeen elke vorm van 4/4 terwijl techno + house hierdoor juist gekenmerkt worden. Zoiets als Massive Attack kun je toch niet onder dezelfde noemer plaatsen als bijvoorbeeld een Jeff Mills?
Ik vind meta-genres zoals "dance" of "electronische (dans)muziek" beter als paraplu voor allerlei genres. 
Industrial kan wat mij betreft prima onder industrial.
Zelf ben ik echt ongeveer verplicht met allerlei subsubgenres te werken; anders kan ik geen album meer terugvinden op mijn HD.

Subgenres zijn wel handig vaak, omdat er binnen een genre gewoon nog erg veel diversiteit zit, maar soms lijkt het wel een beetje door te slaan ja. Gast je hebt geen idee Ach het is je eigen lijstje....als jij d'r maar blij mee bent

Gewoon te triest voor woorden dat mensen elkaars muziek niet gunnen. Zelf heb ik niks met Hardocre, trance en rap etc, en luister het daarom ook niet. Dat een ander er gek om word dat ik het niet vind is dan te zielig voor woorden.
Wat dan weer wel irritant is is dat mensen dus hun muziek, metal, rap of wat dan ook te hard uit de mobieltjes en oordopjes laten knallen.
