McCain antwoord op de gestelde vraag waarna je linkt: That would be fine with me.
Een duidelijk verschil voor iedereen die het wil begrijpen. Dat zijn woordkeuze zich voortreffelijk leent om te worden misbruikt is een ander punt. Maar hoe dan ook, het zal nog veelvuldig worden gebruikt door de campagneteams van de Democraten om de race van de nodige dosis dirty politics te voorzien.
Klare taal. Zeker als ik nogmaals citeer waar John McCain echt op reageert: "President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years — (cut off by McCain)". - "McCAIN: Make it a hundred."
Duidelijker kun je het haast niet krijgen.

In Ohio staat Clinton nog aan kop met zo'n tien a vijftien punten verschil en in Texas staan ze vrijwel gelijk. Mocht de uitkomst in beide staten zijn zoals de recente peilingen, dan is het over en sluiten voor Clinton.quote:Op woensdag 27 februari 2008 18:44 schreef rubbereend het volgende:

Pearson met with Congressman John Lewis Wednesday afternoon in Washington. She was the only Atlanta TV reporter Lewis spoke to about his switch.
Talk had been swirling that Lewis might switch his endorsement from Clinton to Obama. Lewis is a superdelegate who will cast his ballot at the Democratic National Convention.
Lewis told Pearson he was switching his support because his district voted for Obama and he believes Americans are looking for a great change. He also said he had not spoken to Clinton or Obama about his decision.

Omdat ik een echte conservatieve Republikein ben, zie ik John McCain het liefste in het bejaardentehuis, ipv het Witte Huis. Vanwege McCain/Kennedy (immigratie) en allerlei andere "bi-partisan" punten hoort hij gewoon bij de Democraten thuis. Ik zie nog liever Joe Lieberman dan McCain.
