René Orlando Houseman (born July 19, 1953 in La Banda, Santiago del Estero) is a retired Argentine footballer, who played as a right winger.
In his career he played for Defensores de Belgrano, Huracán, River Plate, Colo Colo (in Chile), Amazulu (in South Africa), Independiente and Excursionistas.
During his international career he also played for Argentina, and participated at the 1974 FIFA World Cup, where he scored three goals. His greatest achievement in football was being a member of the 1978 FIFA World Cup winning team (he came on as a substitute after 75 minutes in the World Cup Final).
