regisseur: Alan J. Pakula. Had al gerenomeerde films als Klute en the parallax view op zijn naam staan (later sophie's choice). Ze hebben hem misschien gewoon carte blanche gegeven, hoewel het raar blijft. Is gewoon een biopic als je het goed bekijkt.
Als je 'm vergelijkt met films als nixon of JFK vind ik 'm nog erg goed afkomen eigenlijk. Dat is dus echt vaak verzanden in details..

Bij een wedstrijd als deze maakt het niet uit hoe de loting is. Het gaat om de uiteindelijke nummer 1. De overige drie halve finalisten zijn niet de nummers 2,3, en 4 omdat betere films al in de voorrondes eruit kunnen liggen. Je kunt dus uiteindelijk alleen iets zeggen over de winnaar.
