PLAYBOY: You testified in court when he was charged with child molestation. Did you have qualms about testifying?
TUCKER: I knew that family and was subpoenaed. I just went up and said what I had to say. It wasn't as if I was on anybody's side. They made me come to court.

Nee, live lukt het DENK ik niet meer omdat z'n stem daarvoor te veel geleden heeft. Maar goed, we hebben hem al jaren niet horen zingen dus het zou best kunnen dat hij het gewoon nog steeds heeft (waar ik stiekem nog een beetje op hoop). De dancemoves zal ie ook niet kwijt zijn, alleen zal hij heel hard moeten trainen wil hij zo energiek kunnen optreden op z'n 48e.

Mathijst: ja, idd.. wel mooi om te zien. Alleen daardoor al steekt de BAD Tour boven alle andere tours uit; het was veel funkier, veel betere dansers, veel betere backup-zangers (en zangeres), veel spontaner. Als hij nou ervoor zorgt dat hij dit voor z'n volgende tours ook heeft, dan heeft het al veel meer kans op slagen.
(kijk bijvoorbeeld die backup op de HIStory Tour, om te huilen gewoon. Nou komt dat ook door het playbacken, maar toch)

Michael Jackson has been ordered to pay more than £125,700 (US$250,000) in overdue fees to a California law firm.
The music legend, who is struggling to rebuild his career following his acquittal for child molestation charges in 2005, must pay £106,488 in fees and £19,239 in interest, court documents show.
The law firm of Ayscough and Marar sued Jackson on February 21, 2006 in Torrance Superior Court, near Los Angeles.
The firm was employed by Jackson for work connected to his sex abuse trial two years ago.

At the end of last week, Transitional Investors filed a civil complaint against Michael Jackson in which they are seeking over $29 million. The complaint is very similar to that of the recently settled Prescient case, in that the plaintiff is claiming they are entitled to 9% of the Bank of America loans refinanced through Fortress.

En op Ebay hebben ook vaak diverse DVD's, van verschillende concerten, die allemaal op tv zijn uitgezonden (History Tour).

Er zijn meerdere HIStory Tour concerten; Gothenburg, Kuala Lumpur, Munich, Bucharest, Seoul, Auckland, Manilla, Kopenhagen, Helsinki, Sydney. Dan heb je natuurlijk ook nog verschillende concerten waar wel prof. footage van is, maar niet het hele concert.
Van de BAD Tour heb je Yokohama, Brisbane, Tokyo (wel pro maar geen dvd-kwaliteit qua geluid) en Osaka geloof ik. Uiteraard ook hier weer videos van maar enkele nummers, zoals Kansas, NY, Duitsland, Rome, en nog wat '88 materiaal

Heeft iemand ooit de Dangerous Copyright Case gehoord? Ik heb hem op audio, bijna 50 min lang en daarin moet MJ uitleggen hoe MJ nummers maakt, hoe hij op het 'Dangerous' kwam etc (een beetje zoals dat Mexico '93 gedoe, met The Girl Is Mine). Er zitten veel grappige stukjes in en MJ legt uit (en zingt) hoe hij nummers maakt. Zo zingt hij bijvoorbeeld Billie Jean, stukje van Another Part Of Me en laat hij horen op welke manieren hij nummers maakt. Ik heb hem op audio, bijna 50 min lang en daarin moet MJ uitleggen hoe MJ nummers maakt, hoe hij op het 'Dangerous' kwam etc (een beetje zoals dat Mexico '93 gedoe, met The Girl Is Mine). Er zitten veel grappige stukjes in en MJ legt uit (en zingt) hoe hij nummers maakt. - schrijven van honderden nummers (tekst, akkoorden) kunnen veel meer artiesten. Het juist laten klinken is waar de meeste moeten afhaken. Tenzij je bijv. Quincy Jones heb mogen ontarmen, met gelden van de platenmaatschappij.
- in die rehearsal video's op youtube, is ie wel aardig bezig om de pasjes goed te krijgen....
MJ heeft Prince zo hoog in het vaandel staan, hij noemt niet voor niets een kind naar hem.
Vind MJ ook prima te pruimen hoor als popmuzikant. Kheb er zelfs LP's van. Er zijn maar weinig artiesten over van die tijd, die het nog steeds goed doen en muziek kunnen maken en het live ook waar maken. Neem een Madonna, afgrijzelijk hoe ze de helft van haar concerten moet playbacken.
Hopelijk treedt MJ ook gauw weer op. Kunnen we er allemaal weer van genieten en oude herinneringen herbeleven.
