Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.
Eerste levensteken van Diablo III?
Het lijkt erop dat Blizzard momenteel werkt aan het derde deel in haar hack and slash reeks Diablo. Een Diablo II fansite ontving namelijk een e-mail van een Tsjechische musicus wie beweerde onlangs de muziek voor Diablo III ingespeeld te hebben met een symphonie-orkest in Bratislava, Slowakije.
Opvallend is dat ook de muziek in Diablo II door dit orkest is opgenomen, wat zijn bewering vrij aannemelijk maakt. Mocht de Tsjech niet iets uit zijn duim gezogen heeft, dan zou dat betekenen dat Diablo III inmiddels al aardig vergevorderd is en dat we het spel allicht op de E3 zullen mogen verwelkomen. All that had kept him in check was the combined efforts the Three Terrors and the worldstone’s power to keep hell from breaking into the world. No wonder Cain had always known what to do next, what every strange artifact found was, who to seek for help in the quest to defeat the Three. He had plotted and schemed all along. When Diablo broke free he had aided heroes in the quest to destroy him and his brothers so that he might stand unopposed to rule the world. With the worldstone gone, he was free to unleash hell itself into the mortal realm.
Cain began to cackle manically as the hordes slaughtered the lucky, and did worse to the rest. “And you,” he said “You will be duly rewarded for your long efforts to assist me.” The warrior screamed in terror as Cain’s hand came towards him, but he could no longer summon the strength to fight or flee. His curse upon Deckard Cain echoed across the mountains, but the only answer was the scream of hell unleashed.

Wat is de bron van het 2de stukje?
1 van de weinige spellen die ik gewoon in de winkel gekocht heb puur omdat ik het waard vond (zowel diablo 1 als 2 en de uitbreidingen). Ik hoop dat ze de top down view houden en de simpelheid van het spel.

Ja idd, gewoon arcade style hack and slash. Daar is diablo gewoon het sterkst in.
BTW Diablo is ook bij mij het enige spel dat ik het echt waard vond om te kopen in de winkel.
Hoewel ik wel een beetje huiverig ben voor de verslaving die het met zich mee kan brengen.

diablo 2 lod, geweldig spel echt 2 jaar lang gespeeld continu en 1,5 jaar op battle.net zowel east/west/europa en natuurlijk de buggeds waren een leuke toevoeging

Ik geloof geen zak van dat laatste verhaaltje, het is niet blizzard-waardig en is nogal cheap. Cain die even alles naar eigen hand zou gaan zetten Als je al kijkt hoeveel plottwists in de Warcraft-verhaallijn zitten....

Cain als bad guy zou wel erg matig zijn....maar goed, Diablo is niet echt een spel waarbij het om het plot gaat...

Met een derde deel van Diablo zou ik blij zijn, maar de storylijn die hier gegeven wordt is zo kinderlijk dat ik daar niet zo in geloof.
Ik vond het verhaal bij Diablo 2 toch erg leuk hoor, met sfeervolle tussenfilmpjes.

He wondered if it was real, and we checked into it and discovered that it is. The French version of Network Solutions tells us that diablo3.fr was registered by Vivendi Universal back on May 28, 2004. This means nothing in terms of a timeline for the game, and companies routinely purchase domain names years in advance simply to keep them for future use, or to keep them from being cybersquatted. Blizzard does not own any prime Diablo3 .com or .net domain names, as far as we know, though lots of other people do. *cough*

Er is geen nieuws. Blizcon staat voor de deur, maar Blizzard ontkent dat ze daar een nieuw spel gaan laten zien. het is dus echt een gamingsfestijn met WoW.
