Boekbesprekingen, vragen over schrijvers, je favoriete theaterstuk, de mooiste schilderijen of de beste musea. Een must voor alle liefhebbers van kunst, boeken, theater en taal.
Nou ben ik bezig in de klassieker "1984" van George Orwell. Ik heb deze nog nooit gelezen en zag een herdruk in de boekenwinkel staan en kon het niet laten om deze eens te lezen. En nu snap ik ook waarom dit boek ineens zo actueel is.

PS 't Lijkt me trouwens ook erg moeilijk voor een schrijver om na een dergelijk bejubeld & groots boek aan de verwachtingen van het publiek te voldoen met een nieuw boek...

Ben net begonnen in "shopaholic" van Sophie Kinsella. Even lekker makkelijke kost tijdens het leren Ik was eerst begonnen in "Tokyo" van Mo Hayder, maar daar kan ik me nu echt niet op concentreren.

Ik lees Jingo van Terry Pratchett. De beste man komt op de Elf Fantasy fair, dus weer even wat Discworld lezen.

Kwam straks mijn oude kunstgeschiedenis studieboeken van 12 jaar geleden tegen en begon te lezen. Ik merk dat ik ze nu heel anders lees en met meer begrip dan toen ik ze moest lezen. Ik vind het nu zelfs oppervlakkige kennis.

Ik lees 'Geheel de uwe' van Connie Palmen. Het gaat wéér over Ischa Meijer, alleen heet hij nu anders. Toch wel de moeite waard, want ik heb ook recentelijk 'Brief aan mijn moeder' van Ischa gelezen. En ik vind dat Connie mooi kan schrijven.
