Netflix Acquires Second Window SVOD Rights to COLONY, Which Premieres on USA Network January 14
Beverly Hills, CA – September 28, 2015 – Netflix, Inc., Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions announced today that Netflix has acquired subscription video on demand (SVOD) rights on a global basis to COLONY, a highly anticipated new drama from Carlton Cuse ("Lost") and Ryan Condal ("Hercules"), which premieres on USA January 14, 2016. COLONY is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions.
Leading up to its Season 1 premiere Netflix has licensed second window streaming rights to COLONY, which now joins the ranks of other popular, highly-rated, and critically acclaimed series that Netflix has recently acquired such as "How to Get Away with Murder," "Jane the Virgin," and "Zoo," all entering their second seasons. Netflix will stream COLONY about a year after its linear broadcast on USA in the U.S., on Bell Media's Bravo in Canada, and after its linear broadcast in other territories worldwide.
Set in the very near future, COLONY centers on one family's struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles.

Maar alsnog erg vermakelijk imo, verstand op nul en gaan.
Heb S2 inmiddels ook afgekeken (via USA), vond ik iets minder goed dan het eerste seizoen al werd het tegen het einde wel weer erg spannend allemaal.

Nee, wat daar staat is dat-ie in de 'other territories' eerst lineair uitgezonden moet zijn, voordat het daar op Netflix te vinden is. Natuurlijk is dit alleen als er in die gebieden ook een lineaire aanbieder is; als geen enkele Nederlandse omroep 'm wil uitzenden zou het hier redelijk vlot op Netflix moeten kunnen komen.quote:
