Als eerste vond ik een nogal schokkend artikel:

Instead, the AZT destroys the immune system, as all such cancer "treatments" do, and the patient dies. But is AZT identified as the cause of death? No, of course not, the doctors say it was HIV that caused the death because they know no better. Most doctors are not healers, but admintrators for the global drug cartel and the medical establishment it controls.
Now this deadly scam is being played out in Africa like never before with the "victory" of the people to have access to AZT as never before because of price reductions. If people do not wake up there, the population of South Africa is going to plummet in the next few years and it won't be caused by HIV, but AZT and its like.

Ik herinner mij de uitspraken van de Zuid-Afrikaanse President die erg lijken op de uitspraken van David Icke. Hij zei welhaast hetzelfde: HIV is niet de oorzaak van Aids, maar de medicatie, daar ga je dood aan. Ik vind dit een nogal schokkende uitspraak. Ik mis aan het artikel van David Icke een aantal zaken:
Ten eerste is het gewraakte artikel, globale informatie aan patienten. Het heeft niet de intentie van een wetenschappelijke verhandeling.
Ten tweede, David Icke geeft geen wetenschappelijke verklaring over zijn theorie dat HIV geen aids veroorzaakt. Hij beschuldigt slechts.
Ten derde, Er is een veelvoud aan wetenschappelijke publicaties over HIV. De werking van het virus wordt volledig uit de doeken gedaan (zover men dat weet) en ook de werking van AZT wordt wetenschappelijk uit de doeken gedaan. En ja, David Icke heeft de klok horen luiden maar dat is ook alles. AZT is inderdaad vergif. En ja, het geneest niet. Het rekt je leven. Meer dan dat doet het niet. En dat het meer zou zijn wordt niet beweerd. Zonder AZT ga je sneller dood. DAT is wel klinisch bewezen. Ik ben benieuwd hoe de gemiddelde F&T forum bezoeker hier nou tegenaan kijkt, of misschen kan een David Icke ingewijde mij vertellen waarom dit wel geloofwaardig is?
Klinkt allemaal heel erg science-fiction, maar wat nou als het allemaal waar zou zijn? Die vraag stel ik, omdat ik nog geen tegenbeweringen heb gehoord voor zijn "bevindingen".

Zijn argumenten snijden op sommige punten wel hout, maar hij verbindt er (zeker voor mij) veel te verregaande conclusies aan. Hij schrijft bijvoorbeeld in "Who really rules the world":
The structure of global control is pyramids inside pyramids. Very much like Russian dolls, one doll inside another. If you look at any organisation today you will see that it is structured as a pyramid. Those lower down the pyramid have no idea what the organisation they work for is really about. They just do their own job and go home every day. They don't know how what they do connects with other people's contribution to create a very obvious and sinister pattern and direction. Only the very few at the top know that. In this way the few can manipulate thousands in an organisation to advance an agenda that those thousands do not even know exists. There is a global version of this which manipulates billions in the same way.
Dit is op zich niets nieuws, grote organisaties zijn nu eenmaal niet 'plat' gestrucureerd, aangezien dat simpelweg niet werkbaar is. Trek je dit door tot in het extreme, dan kom je op thema's die bijvoorbeeld in een film als 'Cube' spelen.
Of een dergelijk extreem gezichtspunt reeel is, is nog maar de vraag. Hij draagt het wel aan, maar biedt er geen bewijs voor. Wat hij wel probeert te doen is op een slimme manier gebruik maken van suggestieve redenatie; In plaats van voorbeelden te analyseren, en vanuit daar naar een conclusie te werken, draait hij deze werkwijze om. Hij poneert zijn stelling, en zoekt vervolgens die voorbeelden uit die daarin passen. Alternatieven om die voorbeelden uit te leggen zijn daarmee overbodig geworden (voor hem dan) en daar kijkt hij dan verder ook niet naar.
Dit zijn typische gedachtengangen voor mensen met een sterk paranoide gevoel, of die zelfs doorgeslagen zijn naar psychose. Hij heeft een idee in zijn hoofd gekregen, om wat voor reden dan ook, en zal allerlei kleine (en grote) zaken zo uitleggen dat ze in zijn wereldbeeld passen.
Zo stelt hij in het artikel dat ik hierboven noem, dat de grote hoofd-piramides van macht (banken, bedrijven, politiek etc.) overkoepeld worden door een super-piramide. Uiteraard zijn er interconnecties tussen de diverse structuren te vinden. Politieke structuren zijn nu eenmaal afhankelijk van economische factoren, dat zullen weinig mensen ontkennen. Maar dat die voorbeelden er zijn, is nog geen bewijs voor het bestaan van die super-piramide, die alle andere structuren significant zou beinvloeden.
En dan poneert hij bovenop dit 'superpiramide' idee ook zijn "reptilian connection" theorie. Uit dat artikel:

Een mooi voorbeeld van voorbeelden nemen en die in je eigen wereldbeeld een plaatsje geven. (Ik heb even niet de moeite genomen om na te gaan of zijn stelling klopt, maar laat ik er voor het gemak even van uit gaan dat die presidenten (verre) familiebanden hebben/hadden)
Dit is natuurlijk helemaal niet zo'n vreemd verschijnsel. Zelfs in Europa, waar de geschiedenis van de westerse 'beschaving' behoorlijk verder terugloopt dan in de VS, kun je enorm veel mensen in relatie tot elkaar stellen, mits je de diverse stambomen maar ver genoeg terug volgt. De VS, waar zeker de 'upper class' nog steeds voornamelijk bestaat uit afstammelingen van kolonisten uit west-Europa, is dit waarschijnlijk nog veel simpeler te doen.
Helaas zijn er nogal wat mensen die voor zijn soort redeneringen vatbaar zijn, zonder daar kritisch naar te kijken. (vgl. met Scientology)
Ik zie Icke dan ook niet anders dan een iets ongevaarlijkere versie van Hubbard. Lach er om, maak een filmpje over zijn verhalen, maar neem het niet serieus.
Uw absoluut niet gequalificeerde huis tuin en keuken psycholoog stelt de diagnose voorlopig vast op: "Sterk paranoide, met psychotische neigingen."

wat betreft die vrijmetselaarsloge in de straat waar je werkt; waarschijnlijk is dat een gewone "3-graads" vrijmetselaars-loge (zeg maar gerust "de volksvrijmetselarij") deze staan heel laag in de vrijmetselaars-hiërarchie en worden niet verder geïnitieerd dan de derde graad en hebben dus ook geen toegang tot de "geheime kennis" en worden niet op de hoogte gesteld van de ware agenda!
de "elite-vrijmetselarij" noemt men ook wel de "illuminatie", of de "33-graads vrijmetselarij"

Ik weet niet genoeg van de vrijmetselaren om daarover te oordelen, maar er zal inderdaad niet veel indrukwekkends gebeuren, aangezien er op een duidelijk bordje "orde van de vrijmetselaren" naast de deur hangt, en dat bekende logo duidelijk op een lamp boven de deur, is dus wel erg opvallend

Het is gewoon niet relevant en er komt zo ook geen discussie op gang, maar alleen maar over en weer geharrewar.
Als je onbevangen en fris naar de realiteit wilt kijken, zul je al je oude associaties van je af moeten schudden.
Ze vertroebelen datgene wat werkelijk is. Mensen die alleen maar associeren en iets vergelijken met iets anders, staan niet met beide benen op de grond.
Zij zweven, doordat ze alles maar abstraheren en vergelijken met wat ze al kennen.
Zo kun je ook niet leven in het hier en nu.
Werkelijk sceptisch zijn is: onbevangen en authentiek zijn en niet door je bevooroordeeldheid alles al bij voorbaat in de kiem smoren wat jij niet onmiddellijk begrijpt.

The Illuminati manipulate humanity through the mind and emotions. There are too many people and too few Illuminati to control people physically, except on a small scale. They have to manipulate the way the masses think and feel, so we live our lives and see the world in the way the Illuminati want us to. For instance, the most powerful of the manipulation techniques is one I call Problem-Reaction-Solution. It works like this:
You want to introduce something you know the people won't like.This may be more power to the police, a further erosion of basic freedoms, even a war. You know that if you offer these policies openly the people will react against them. So you first create a PROBLEM, a rising crime rate, more violence, a terrorist bomb, a government collapse, or you get one of your Illuminati puppets like Saddam Hussein to go to war.
You make sure someone else is blamed for this problem and not you, the real people behind it all. So you create a "patsy", as they call them in America, a Timothy McVeigh or a Lee Harvey Oswald. You then use your media to tell people what they should think about your manufactured event and who they should blame for it. This brings us to stage two, the REACTION from the people - "This can't go on what are THEY going to do about it?"
This allows THEY to then openly offer the SOLUTION to the problems they have created - new legislaation which advances their agenda of centralisation of global power or the erosion of more basic freedoms. This technique is being used all the time on the human mind and emotions, not least with the stream of mind-contolled youngsters and adults who go crazy with guns around the world and immediately prompt gun control laws.
I say this as someone who does not have guns and believes passionately in non-violence. But if we are going to be street-wise we need to look beyond our own beliefs and realise that the Illuminati is seeking to systematically disarm those who WOULD use weapons against them. Just before Adolf Hitler began to fill the concentration camps he introduced the same anti-gun legislation which we are seeing today all over the world.
We are now at a crucial time in this agenda's history. So many cards are waiting to be played by the Illuminati in the next years. We are at a crossroads in human history. We can choose freedom or fall under the control of a global fascist state, a global version of Nazi Germany.
This does not have to happen, but to stop it a lot of

Van het idee van de 'Illuminati' is meer bekend. Een bekend voorbeeld van deze 'stroming' is Giovanni Agnelli (de baas van Fiat) waarvan het een publiek geheim is dat hij een grotere invloed heeft op de wereldpolitiek dan anderen kunnen vermoeden. Dat deze mensen zich grouperen is niet meer dan logisch evenals de opbouw van een organisatie welke op dit niveau zou kunnen functioneren.

De theorie dat een probleem het perfecte middel is om een groep mensen 1 kant uit te stuwen, vind ik realistisch. In een bedrijf gebeurt ook ongeveer hetzelfde. Telkens wanneer een vorig project (= een oplossing voor een probleem) is afgerond wordt een nieuw probleem aangepakt. Een bedrijf waar deze cyclus wordt doorbroken verliest op een moment de strijd in de mallemolen en gaat kapot.
Een heel mooi verhaal, interessant gedachtengoed (dat zeker) edoch heb ik moeite met de laatste alinea. Hetgeen wat dhr Icke volgens mij nu echt wil vertellen:

En hij haalt Hitler aan. Iets wat mij tegen de borst stuit. Doet het altijd goed om eventuele tegenargumenten scherp te veroordelen. Een tegenargument kan dan altijd met het "H" woord doodgezwegen worden. En de heer Icke 'vergeet' dat wapenbezit voor de 2e wereldoorlog al in heel Europa waarschijnlijk al verboden was. (Als iemand anders dit beter weet: graag info)
Dit was volgens mij de boodschap die hij wou overbrengen: "stem tegen het verbod op wapenbezit". En ik vraag mij oprecht af welke doelgroep hij hiermee wil bereiken.
Ik zie ook alleen deze argumentatie. Geen andere pro's-contra's. Alleen dit. En waartegen zou men zich moeten beschermen?
