Kan mij niet herinneren dat er een gitaar werd kapot geslagen in beide Amsterdam paradiso shows. Als gitaarliefhebber heb ik mijn twijfels of Aaron North deze gitaar heeft gebruikt. Ik twijfel aan de echtheid van de handtekening en zeker deze hele auction. Vergelijk maar eens wat handtekeningen. Amsterdam show was een meet n greet met de hele band, dus waarom dan alleen een handtekening van north en niet meer?

Ik was bij het concert in 2007 aanwezig, ik ken de Amerikaanse verkoper die daar ook bij aanwezig was en ik weet dat hij de gitaar destijds persoonlijk heeft ontvangen van een crew lid. Daar was ik namelijk ook bij aanwezig...quote:

Trent Reznor unleashes super-fast tracks from the new album, a heartfelt Bowie tribute and a nostalgic smattering of the hits
If the interviews Trent Reznor has been giving lately are anything to go by, the leather-clad nihilist has, musically speaking, been a bit lost. Sure, there was an Oscar-winning score with bandmate Atticus Ross for 2010’s The Social Network. But he has said of his last three EPs that he and his LA industrialists Nine Inch Nails were casting around to figure out “who we are now and how we fit into the world”.
In the gothic splendour of the Royal Albert Hall, London, Reznor seems to have struck on the answer: let rip. This show – the second of two smaller London dates – has the saw-toothed ferocity of a rottweiler gnashing through its muzzle, bathed in exquisite monochromatic lighting and smoke. “All the songs on the new album are fucking fast!” Reznor announces – so fast that their gothic sex classics such as Piggy and The Hand That Feeds sound almost pedestrian by comparison.
As with their Bush-era treatise Year Zero, the current political climate has charged their music once more. There are still glimmers of Reznor’s egocentrism – a nepotistic rendition of a song from How to Destroy Angels, his band with his wife – and more lunges than peak time at a Soho gym. But these are overshadowed by moments such as a heartfelt cover of David Bowie’s I Can’t Give Everything Away. (The use of saxophone on Bowie’s final album Blackstar influenced NIN’s new mini-album Bad Witch.) “If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t be here,” says Reznor.
However, the show doesn’t feel elegiac. Old hits such as Head Like a Hole, Wish and Hurt may get the nostalgia juices flowing, but Reznor was surely having a laugh when he opened it all with 2016 glam-stomper Branches/Bones, a song about “slowing down”. It sounds as if he’s just getting started.

Vandaag heeft Nine Inch Nails de Peel It Back Tour 2025 aangekondigd, waarmee de band voor het eerst sinds 2022 weer live optreedt. De headliner-tour begint op zondag 15 juni in Dublin, Ierland, in de 3Arena, en brengt de band door heel Europa, met stops in onder andere het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Duitsland, Zwitserland en meer. De Europese tour bevat ook optredens op grote festivals, waaronder Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Open’er in Gdynia en Mad Cool in Madrid.
Het Noord-Amerikaanse deel van de tour gaat van start op woensdag 6 augustus in Oakland, Californiė, in de Oakland Arena. Nine Inch Nails zal ook optreden in arena’s in Portland, Oregon; Vancouver, BC; Chicago, Illinois; Toronto, Ontario; Boston, Massachusetts; Brooklyn, New York; Nashville, Tennessee; Houston, Texas, en meer.
De wereldtour van de band in 2022, die een mix van headliner-shows en festivaloptredens omvatte, kreeg lovende recensies. Boston Magazine roemde: “Hoe geweldig waren Trent Reznor en de rest van de band dit weekend? Echt ongeėvenaard.” Kerrang prees het optreden in Londen als “een van de meest uitzonderlijke concerten van het jaar van een liveband die, in deze vorm, onbetwist de beste ter wereld is.” De tour werd afgesloten in Cleveland met een show die volgens Cleveland.com “een van de grootste en meest unieke concerten in de geschiedenis van de band” was. Nine Inch Nails, in 2020 opgenomen in de Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, heeft wereldwijd meer dan 30 miljoen albums verkocht.
