Wings Simulations has proven their knowledge in Military Games with their title Panzer Elite. Now they lead us into the military world of the year 2010:
After half a century of military interventions major countries like the United States of America or Russia are weary of their role as "World Police". The consequences of their military actions for their economy, national security, and internal ethnic conflicts let to the conclusion to tune down their military campaigns.
Due to that more and more countries choose unconventional warfare by using secret Special Forces. Military success is no longer made by major countries but by small and highly specialized mercenary forces.
In "SÖLDNER - Secret Wars" the player takes over the command of such a Special Forces team. As the Commander he leads a small high tech army consisting of soldiers, light armored vehicles, helicopters and VTOLS (Vertical Take Off and Landing Airplanes) to fulfill a wide variety of mission types .
The players units are stationed on a multi purpose ship which is camouflaged as a merchantman to allow unrestrained travel of the seas to get their forces to the area of operation.
The complete simulation of a complex political world system allows creating a dynamic campaign: each decision of the player, each success or failure has direct effect on the game flow. In addition the player has the ability to gain access to the latest weapon systems and technology, which currently exist in the research centers of the weapon industry only.

Dit spel zal vooral operation flashpoint spelers aantrekken,tis een echte tactical shooter
weet niet of je die kent, maar brengt alleen geflopte games uit met mooie graphics en geen gameplay.

Zoals ik al in de startpost zei is dit echt een spel voor OFP fanaten,zeer grote vrijheid in de game,en zeer grote landschappen.

Zoals ik al in de startpost zei is dit echt een spel voor OFP fanaten,zeer grote vrijheid in de game,en zeer grote landschappen.
ik zit hier al een tijdje op te wachten, lijkt net flashpoint maar dan mooier, nu hopen dat de gameplay minstens even goed is en ik heb een nieuwe favo game 
Dat gaat me te diep sp3c, daar is het te laat voor.
Alleen w8en of de gameplay goed is.
Ze verwachten dat Soldner op 30 Januari uit komt.
Ben dan wel benieuwd hoe het spel zal zijn.

Voor de rest is en blijf het jowood, wat nooit veel goeds betekent.

JoWood heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat men in de vier weken voorafgaand aan de release van de multiplayer shoot 'm up Söldner - Secret Wars, een open betatest zal houden waaraan iedereen vrij mee kan doen. Momenteel is men reeds bezig met een betatest waaraan slechts een klein aantal geselecteerde mensen mee mogen doen.
De open betatest zou ervoor moeten zorgen dat Söldner bij de release erg stabiel is en dat al het potentieel uit de titel gehaald wordt. Tevens hebben de uitgevers Encore en Big Ben alles uit de kast gehaald om het spel van een stevige PR campange te voorzien, zodat alles rond de release voorspoedig zal verlopen.
De open beta heeft er wel voor gezorgd dat de uiteindelijke versie van Söldner een maandje later dan geplanned op de markt zal komen. Het spel zou in Europa oorspronkelijk op 30 april verschijnen, dit is nu verschoven naar 27 mei. Vreemd genoeg mag men in Amerika al vanaf 4 mei van de titel genieten - een spel dat nota bene in Europa ontwikkeld en geproduceerd is.
