A 21-year-old man's claims that he was beaten by the star and forced to take drugs were dismissed.
A Los Angeles judge threw out segments of a lawsuit against Michael Jackson Tuesday (Dec 5), including an accusation the singer "repeatedly and forcefully sexually molested" a young boy.
Daniel Kapon's claims that he was beaten by the star, and that he also forced him to take drugs, drink alcohol and undertake cosmetic surgery were also dismissed.
The 21-year-old also alleged Jackson stole his lyrics and melodies over a ten year period beginning in 1987, when Kapon was four years old.
Superior Court Judge Rolf Treu dismissed a number of allegations, including those of molestation and copyright infringement, although a "false imprisonment" claim is still being considered.
Kapon alleges he was held captive by Jackson between 1987 and 1991 at the singer's Neverland Ranch, his other California homes in Encino and Woodland Hills, and, occasionally, in a car.
The remaining allegations are expected to be discussed in court on June 4, 2007.
