As madonnalicious reported exclusively yesterday Madonna will again be working with H&M on a new fashion campaign called M by Madonna - here is the official press release from the Swedish retailer:

H&M the international retail giant and their head of design Margareta van den Bosch have teamed up with Madonna to create a line of clothing and accessories that are scheduled to arrive in all stores carrying the women's wear collection, around the world in March 2007, it was announced today.
The 'M by Madonna' fashion line will reflect Madonna's timeless, unique and always glamorous style. A long standing cultural icon whose enormous global influence on how people dress and look is without equal, Madonna worked hand in hand with Margareta van den Bosch to create a wardrobe of clothing and accessories that represent her own personal and modern spin on her very own wardrobe staples.
'Madonna has an impressive feel for fashion and trends. She was extraordinarily style conscious, passionate and was involved in even the smallest details of every design. There is no doubt that Madonna's influence is reflected by the 'M by Madonna' line,' stated Margareta van den Bosch regarding the collaboration.
'I've made no secret of my love of fashion over the years. Working with Margareta and H&M was an exciting and new creative challenge for me. I'm really happy with the results and look forward to wearing 'M by Madonna' along with the rest of the world," concluded Madonna.
Madonna, the multi-Grammy winning singer, video visionary, children's book author, human rights activist and cultural phenomenon just completed the most successful concert tour of any female artist in music history. Her most recent cd Confessions On A Dance Floor debuted at No. 1 in 29 countries.

US publication Women's Wear Daily have given this background on the H&M - M by Madonna collection due to hit stores next March:

Steven Klein has shot the ad campaign for Madonna's second collection with Sweden's fast-fashion giant Hennes & Mauritz.
Industry sources say the mood is ultraglamorous and, surprise, very sexy. The ads feature curve-hugging silhouettes, military details and satin cummerbunds, and the pieces reflect Madonna's own wardrobe, which is packed with tight skirts, high heels and sunglasses.
As reported, M by Madonna is slated to hit stores this March. An H&M spokeswoman declined to comment.

A few months ago we were told that "cartoon and new children books" were the main things to look forward in 2007, but what will the Lady herself be up to in the meanwhile? Sources have confirmed to us that at the same time Madonna is going to work a new album soon.

We were exclusively informed that Madonna will be recording materials to include on a new album in the USA with Pharrell Williams, while rumoured producer Timbaland is not in the picture. But don't worry, Madonna won't dissapear at all this year, the campaign for "M by Madonna" for H&M is gonna be global and huge, and that's definetly something to look forward to.

De Confessions Tour wordt uitgebracht als Live CD met DVD en als enkele DVD. Dit is de eerste echte concertregistratie op DVD sinds de Drowned World Tour, veel fans wachten nog altijd op beelden van de Re-Invention Tour.

The release party will take place on January 25 at 9.30pm in the FAME in Amsterdam. The entrance fee is the price you pay for the DVD and you are allowed to bring one guest. Warner Belgium have confirmed that the DVD/CD version of the Confessions Tour: Live From London will also be digitally available and this version will contain two bonus tracks on the audio CD: Get Together and Ray Of Light.
These songs will not be listed on the audio CD available in stores.
