Seinfeld - New! Season 9's List of DVD Special Features

This morning we relayed the news from The Hollywood Reporter that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is preparing a November 6th DVD release for both Seinfeld - The Complete Series and the separate final season set for the show, Seinfeld - Season 9. We commented that the story was also picked up in many other places, including at TVShowsOnDVD's parent company, TV Guide.

The story at TVGuide.com was posted by Matt Webb Mitovich, in his "My Take" blog, and within the past couple of hours Matt's added some comments to that blog entry which give all the details of the bonus material that will be found on the 9th Season DVD set. Here's the list:

* "The Last Lap" – the cast and crew reminisce about their final days making SEINFELD and share their impressions about the show's legacy
* Scenes from "The Roundtable" – Excerpts from a conversation with Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louise-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, Michael Richards and Larry David nine years after SEINFELD went off the air
* "Inside Looks" – Behind-the-scenes stories from the cast and creators
* "Not That There's Anything Wrong With That" – Never-before-seen outtakes and bloopers
* "In the Vault" – Season Nine never-before-seen deleted scenes…saved from the cutting room floor, including 15 bonus minutes from "The Finale"
* "Yada, Yada, Yada" – Cast and crew audio commentaries
* 2 Sein-Imations – See classic SEINFELD scenes re-imagined in Sein-Imation
* "Notes About Nothing" – Behind-the-scenes trivia and production notes
* "The Betrayal" Back-to-Front – Watch Seinfeld's "backwards" episode... forwards
* Factoid Tracks on all 24 episodes

Zal wel iets van 40 euro kosten. Als je de mogelijkheid hebt, moet je de Mediamarkt tegen die tijd in de gaten houden. Daar had ik seizoen 8 in de eerste week dat hij uit was voor 25 euro gekocht. Da's toch een zeer acceptabele prijs dacht ik zo

Jumping on the complete series bandwagon, Seinfeld is putting all nine seasons together in one DVD box set coming from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
On the same day as the release of the final season of the series, Seinfeld fans can pick up the complete series in one box containing all the episodes from the show and the bonus contents from each box set. The box will - as most series sets are nowadays - also include a bonus DVD with a reunion of the cast and Larry David. Also included is a 226 page coffee table book. The book, created for the cast and crew of the show is available to the public for the first time with this set.
The complete series will be available on November 6th and will carry a suggested retail price of $283.95.

De prijs valt toch wel mee? Iets van 31 euro per box, en dan nog een boek erbij.
"Helaas" heb ik alle boxen al, maar dat boek wil ik toch wel erg graag hebben.

Altijd leuk om Seinfeld weer op TV te zien

Op zich vond ik het nog niet echt leuk, maar als curiositeit was het wel boeiend.

Op amazon.co.uk staat ie voor GBP 112,49, da's ongeveer EUR 180, EUR 20 per seizoen. Dat is te overzien, toch?
